I had a pretty long lunch and generally all of my friends were busy with schoolwork (we took one college class, I somehow got one of the easier ones) they’d often leave around 15 minutes before lunch ends to do work so I’d usually just sit there. I’d get bored, so I’d just walk around campus. Often other people would be around campus and I would walk a similar route every time, to the point as some people only knew me as the “school NPC guy.” Looking back on it (this was only a year ago) I was literally a real-life NPC

Yeahs later, I met a guy who graduated from the same school as me around the same time I did at work. This was work I. Another town pretty far away, so that was not usual. There was like 3 people working there that I knew of that came from my school (the guy, another woman, and me) everyone else came from either the school in the town the building was in or the town between there and where I went to school. So this guy was telling me how he and a group of his buddies went to a lake and saw a bunch of geese. They heard them honking so the started honking at them. Then they started using it as a way to call out to each other in the hallways at school. I looked at him and said “so every time I was taking a test and heard some goof balls honking in the hallways, that was you guys?” “Yep!” That was one school mystery solved lol
