United's problem is simple and logical and yet it seems like rocket science, even with INEOS judging by their damp squib of a first Summer Transfer Window. They really need to start building a first XI capable of competing. You should never sign a player for squad depth.. If United have £200 Million every Summer they should just identify one truly World class player, no older than 24/25 and use the budget solely on acquiring their services, giving the selling Club an offer too good to turn down andvthe player as well. Start with building the spine. Next Summer United should target Adeyemi from Dortmund. And then a goalkeeper the summer after. And then a truly world class powerhouse central midfielder. United really need to stop this buying of players in the £15-£30 million range and £30 million - £75million range. These are the players that always prove to be massively expensive, who we overpay for and their wages far exceeding their transfer fee and ability. Just buy 1 player each Summer and star building a team rather than a hotpotch expensive squad thzt can't play together. It really isnt rocket science.
