Kandayam Gee (Group Songs) genre influenced by the Latin American and Mexican Mariachi songs was introduced to Sri Lanka by Neville Fernando. That was way before Noel Ranasinghe entered the mainstream music. This information is public information and is widely available on the worldwide web.
It is ridiculous that the producers of this program does not even know how to research information publicly available and present accurate facts. Instead have resorted to provide false information with no regard to the accuracy of what’s presented!
