Dude, I just love the idea that they live in this fantastical world with hills and clouds that have eyes on them, flowers that make you shoot fire out of your hands, and places called "The Mushroom Kingdom" and "The Bean kingdom" but the mere idea of a place called the Flower Kingdom existing or there being Elephant mushrooms is too much for Mario to accept.
I feel like eating a mushroom that physically transforms you into an elephant is a step beyond mere fire flowers. And that's not even mentioning the flowers that warp reality all around you!
in fairness, the things with eyes are the result of Koopa using dark magic to transform people But yeah this.. this is a world where they've already had a dream world they visited, and then later... things from that world were real, so
The hat-coloured overalls always looked better. They look too realistic/boring with blue ones. Similarly, Waluigi looks better with black overalls. Purple on purple is bad.
Mario's gone off the deep end, first it was the tanooki suit and now this, things gettin _WILD_ in the mushroom kingdom. Also, the old Mario and Luigi models like in the animated cartoon are amazing xD

I also love how, like how Pomni was in the original TADC pilot, Jax's cameo feels so out of place and yet so fitting in this short (amazing how well his character design works even when he's in the background against a completely different design he's still the star of the scene). Well done, this will be cherished for years.
