Dude I got to see the real pro in person, thanks for everything buddy i ended up buying a kayak so I'm ready to roll when i can. Ended up hitting that spot again and finally hooked some reds.
Caught my first Big Red on a Spoon. Was so exciting! I like that yours had a swivel already. Also have lots of Chicken Boy Shrimp/Lures I bought on sale at Academy that I haven't tried yet. Did catch some trout on them. Thanks for sharing Brother!
Nice one! A good gold spoon is one of my favorite lures in my arsenal. It's a bit old school, but I've caught lots of reds and trout on them over the years.
Damn. I always head to Port A lol but I know the flats back there behind the beach have them. Caught one when I was a kid wa throwing a long worm plastic blind casting a few times before we packed up and left, their was some sort of pool with a skinny canal leading to it. Brought in a 25' haha. That was after Katrina. So many big fish got stuck in the bay. I saw mackerel bluefish and alot of tarpon n Jack's, surf was so bad it had flood over the roads I remember, guess that's how they got there
Just came across your channel. Like what I'm seeing and subbed! Grew up wading in corpus. Always wanted a kayak back then. Just got one this week. Tight lines. Buddy!
Thanks Todd! I have hear of them but I ordered a new spinning set up for super light tackle. I will still use my baitcaster for top waters, wakebaits, and bait
@@cleanfunfishing the new BFS reels can throw that light stuff only difference is your doing it with a bait caster. Love catching those reds on light gear, it's a rush
@@toddschmidt9356 yep. I got into bfs but found going that small isnt even needed. I love it as a niche, but I never see a need to less than 1/8 total lure weight, which my L setups do well. Unless someone really likes using spinning tackle, theres no need for anymore with how far casting tackle has come.
Hey bro hey brother I got a question for you what brand and model kayak are you using I know you make several videos of different kayaks but what's your latest model and brand please and if you know the price let me know thank you God bless

Good fish Justin. It's a lot of fun catching them on light tackle, have you looked into BFS reels?

Where did you guys launch from brother

Man we going this weekend how we get to go with you bud
I'm a full time kayak guide cleanfunfishing.com but I'm booked this weekend
I've noticed your using spinning reels more often, in what conditions do you prefer spinning reels over baitcasters ?
I use spinning for light tackle only. Baitcaster for heavier lures and popping corks and bait on the bottom
Hey bro hey brother I got a question for you what brand and model kayak are you using I know you make several videos of different kayaks but what's your latest model and brand please and if you know the price let me know thank you God bless
I've been in a Hoodoo Tempest 120P for about 8 months. They are $1299 and I really like the light weight of them
@@cleanfunfishing thank you for getting back with me I really appreciate your help.
Tight lines brother..
Pour some Mountain Dew on that 🐟
what size was your spinning combo?
That one is a 2500 Daiwa. The rod is 7'6" medium light
@@cleanfunfishing awesome ty for the response!
