How Veselka restaurant in New York raised $500,000 for Ukraine

- Veselka is a Ukrainian restaurant in New York's East Village that has been a mainstay for the community for 70 years. Since the full-scale Russian invasion, the restaurant has raised over half a million dollars to aid Ukraine. The Kyiv Independent spoke with Jason Birchard, the third-generation owner of Veselka.
