Sweet Jesus ... these kids are amazing. All of them. From everywhere. They give me some hope for the human race.
I know your comment is supposed to be light and sweet, but being talented as a kid doesn’t prevent you from growing up and seeing how fucked up this world is so eventually it’s still possible they become so frustrated they choose to murder someone or something.
Lol i know that’s overdramatic but it’s still realistic. Having hope in an entirely messed up human race because of some talent isn’t really realistic.

@@sadiaamin5708 yeah, I think so. If I remember correctly she can be operated in the US but it's very expensive so her parents ask for donations to help them to paid the operation.

Emma was amazing! She had some of the best breath control and was one of the youngest. And that note at the end - perfection 😍

I have to add that the two women judges on the French program were instantly overcome with very, very strong "mommy" lust when they turned and saw that adorable little bitty girl singing like a queen. That whole segment had me grinning from ear to ear.

Then I'll watch her a million more times. Life is so hard and so unkind, but now so many people love her. At least she will always have that love and the triumph of winning this show.

Benjamin's Lay Me Down and Mariana's Happier were very emotional. I really felt that emotion coming out while they were singing. Robin's Ain't No Sunshine was aaaaah, I love the song, very classic, and it's just so lovely. That one boy (I do not know how to type his name huhu) who sang The Show Must Go On was lit. He's not just a singer but a performer. Buuuuuut... That one little girl who made me cry though I do not know the song, (Emma's Je Suis Malade), is really something!!!! She really made me cry, huhuhu!

You have to watch the blind audition of Erik from Germany. He sings "Here I go again" by Whitesnake. This is just AMAZING!!!
The human resource in Germany is obviously fairing quite well. I have seen several German Kids Voice videos...the country should be very proud of their youth.
I‘m German, but older. Trust me when I’m telling you there’s nothing you could be less proud of than this generations youth.
Obviously not everyone’s the same but for the most part you’ll see our youth set homeless people on fire out of boredom and being loud, disrespectful and dirty on public transportation, you’ll see them fight elders just because they can and know they’re stronger, our youth can’t seem to develop strong opinions since they’re agreeing with you on Muslims not being all bad today and beating a Muslim up the next day because someone said they’re all rapists.
This is our youth. Some of them have talent and fill their free time with the good stuff, some of them march the streets of their cities every Friday to save the planet and some of them would give their own life to save another.
But most of them aren’t like that, sad but true. Because that’s not cool enough these days, also sad but true.

@@caitlinsomers3600 I don't think that this is true.. You can't say that this is our youth.. You don't know how many “adults“ act like that too.. The youth is very strong at the moment and is trying to do good things while older people are just deciding above their heads and sitting around.. (I mean in my area.. idk where you live) I mean of course there are many “bad“ young people but there are everywhere and in most cases this is because they just grew up like thiss.. (same with adults)
DarklynnST adults aren’t the topic now, the fact that adults act that way too doesn’t change the point about our youth. I totally CAN say that because there are statistic so your opinion isn’t relevant at all, this isn’t about personal points of view, facts don’t allow opinions. That’s why they are facts.
You’re right, parts of our youth are strong and have strong mindsets - but just because you see them on (social) media more than minors killing their girlfriend because of a hickey from another dude, it doesn’t make it a majority.
Read the public reports and stats, then come back and tell me if I still can’t say what I said.
Again, just because you see them doing good things (like I mentioned ad well btw) it doesn’t mean they’re the majority.
It is hard. What do we do with “the truth”?
I guess that first we might honestly and with integrity try to find it.
Then what?
Dwell too much in the beauty you find and you might be naive, a dreamer, head in the sand, blind to the atrocities running amok.
Dwell too much in the ugly you find and you may become bitter, cynical, maybe radical and biased.
I guess the easy answer is “find a balance”.
But maybe the better answer is actually in the question: what will you do with that “balance” to tip the scales in favor of the beauty?
