I'm a Amazon seller let me explain the calculation- A product I sell at 400 in that my experience is following
90 rupee logistics change
84-90 rupee Amazon commission
15 rupee my packing cost and
product cost is 160 rupees.
I got 35-40 rupees as profit, in it cancellation cost damage cost is extra.
Amazon is making 90 rupee and I make hardly 20 rupee.
For same reason I left this business...

This can prove to be boon for Indian economy if it is handled carefully. With the rapid growth of infrastructure in both urban & rural areas of India, e-commerce industry will gain rapid growth and many small merchants can be benefited by platforms like ONDC and also Indian start-up Meesho. As an introvert, I can't say how much the online purchasing has been able to keep me alive. I cannot think of the vendor's aggressive and ignoring attitude would make me last for more days. This is one of the things that those who are introverts and who are ignored by the crowd constantly only can understand.
We also need such type of system for Food delivery, cab booking and hotel booking platform. We are always facing issue with cab booking services. Always the cab driver ask for extra charges and some cab driver behave pathetic if anyone don't want to give extra charges. Also in hotel booking, sometime the owner don't give room after successful booking in the app.

Superb session on ONDC. Initiative for Inclusive program for customers, traditional shopkeepers, small vendors where they would work in equal playing field. Govt wants to assist small players against E-commerce giants. In other words monopoly of big platforms to be dismantled. Production, Logistics, warehousing, delivery will create mass employment. We have a thinking government. India will rather show a path to the world to bring positive changing in the life of people. ❤️
Upi is a game changer for India, I don't place even a single order online in whole year but I make UPI payments of even 10 rs online
I'll buy everything from ondc if they don't ruin the UI and platform speed like all other govt apps.

Primarily there would be a problem in terms of setting strict policies on counterfeit products, return refund issues, mainly in Amazon flipkart they are literally naive in terms of solving counterfeit issues and setting those accounts under suspension. If there is open network especially by a government entity it is also important to have a massive customer support team with high standards 100% issues solving team.

This is a very good platform where small business owners will now be able to sell their products digitally without relying on the big players like Flipkart and Amazon. But what the big players provide is a well structured logistics support that ensures the controlled and systematic dispatching and delivering of the product to the customers. However providing such efficient logistical support is difficult for the small businesses. My question is how will they (small businesses) overcome this issue?
