Lita has a great hit video called "Kiss Me Deadly" . There is another awesome Ozzy ballad called" Mama, I'm Coming Home". Both are very good. I saw Lita as an opening act for Ozzy in Long Beach Cali in 1989 or 1990. Good show too!
Ozzy & Lita on Christmas! Great choice, they go so well together and the song shows it. Ozzy is such an all time legend and so is Lita, she does a great duet on this song with Lzzy Hale of Halestorm that is also a classic take. Merry Christmas indeed, enjoy my dear! 🎄
Btw, Ozzy sings a LOT of ballads!!!! In Black Sabbath they had 2 ballads, "Changes" in 1972 and "She's Gone" in 1976. Solo Ozzy ballads: "Dreamer", "Mama I'm Coming Home" & "Here For You" both written for his wife Sharon, "Old L.A. tonight", "Time after Time", "Ordinary Man", "Goodbye to Romance", "Tonight", "So Tired" and a few others!!!!
Your reaction is priceless, it's a love it or hate it song, I personally love this song more now than when I first heard it in the 80s in high school 😂😂
Response song to this was Kix Don’t Close Your Eyes. Anti suicide song. To all dealing with mental health issues. Please know and use all avenues of help available. Love all.
I saw Lots in the 1980s in LA. She rocked the house. Two songs I really like from her are Stay With Me Baby and Hungry. She's been called the female Ace Frehley for her playing style, and she actually covered Wild Thing with Ace.
Kiss Me Deadly...Lita Dords big hit single....Also Ozzy has some great ballads...Goodbye to Romance(solo) Changes(Black Sabbath) So Tired(solo) to name a few.
Lita was in an all female band in the 70's with Joan Jett called The Runaways a rock / early punk style group. Maybe give them a check on your female friday reactions
A lot of Ozzie's songs are theatrical let's say. But a lot of them are love songs. Mama I'm coming home for one. Another one would be talking about world peace and that would be Crazy Train talking about the Cold War. I think you would be surprised. A lot of what he did was for theatrical purposes and I used to love his concerts because they were that. Really cool stages and stuff. Anyway I would prefer to listen to him on his album, non-live. And some of the creepy songs he has are for dramatic effect like Diary of a Madman. It hits chords that make you cringe a little bit but that's the intent because it's about a madman mind. Brilliant nonetheless. I did enjoy your review. I'm glad you are checking some stuff out that I grew up with. You're a cute young lady also. I'm an old fogie now but I was the tour manager for Bad Company for a while. That's pretty cool. Anyway I hope your channel does well and I hope you continue to songs. God bless
I gotta admit, us boys didn't believe she was really playing that guitar at the time. Sexist, I know. But the reality is, a lot of these 80s bands couldn't play their solos as well the producer played it on the record. So it was an easy leap to make.
another great ballad from Lita Ford is the song called "LISA" which she wrote to her Mother Isabella "Lisa" Ford after her Father passed away from Cancer. Unfortunately after the song's release her Mother also passed away from Cancer, TRAGIC!!!! The song "Lisa" and music video I NEVER see get requested by ANYONE so now it's requested by "No One" lol..
I don't understand why people these days don't think that Metal Singers can sing Ballads. Metal Vocalists can do EVERYTHING, that was the whole point. I guess people just don't realize that Metal is basically the next logical evolution of Classical Music. The Rock genre is basically a watered-down, 'POP' version of Metal. Maybe some Rockers can't do Ballads but Metal Vocalists? You BET they can do ballads!
Still one of the greatest duets/collabs in rock + metal. Ozzy brought his usual incomparably eerie low tenor voice to the table. As for Lita, people have pointed out how talented she is, to be able to sing metal so soulfully and also play an instrument. Classic track.
Lita was named one of the best female guitarists in rock along with my personal favourite Nancy Wilson.

Lita Ford was in a band with Joan Jett back in the late 70's. They were called The Runaways. Some cool songs. Cherry Bomb was there biggest hit.
Lita ford is now 65 years old and is still Smokin' hot! (just my 2 cents)
You really need to dive deep down into Lita's catalogue. She has some amazing songs beyond this one.I've been a fan since mid 80s.🤘
Dangerous Curves and Dancing on the Edge are my 2 favorite Lita albums, also the Black album is so grossly underrated!!!!

I was a small kid, but I remember and I miss how guitar solos in 80s rock n roll were played as if the guitar was singing.
Classic 80s power ballad. 🎶🖤👍👊
Great reaction, Merry Christmas Angela ! 🎄 🎁
Merry Christmas to All!
🎧 💓 🎶

Good message , but I don't think Kix responded to this song at all. I don't even think they're connected one bit.

Chicks with guitars rock.
Lita Ford, Jan Kuehnemund and Nancy Wilson. 😍
im old but still have the hotts for Nancy and Lita
Lzzy Hale & Halestorm.
Powerful performance on this by Ozzy and Lita, with some cool guitar-Colin Ward
I suspect Lita sold as many posters as she did records back then. She was smokin.
Kiss Me Deadly...Lita Dords big hit single....Also Ozzy has some great ballads...Goodbye to Romance(solo) Changes(Black Sabbath) So Tired(solo) to name a few.

Lita and Lzzy Hale did this together and it’s on You Tube. Lzzy Hale is from Halestorm.
This one isn't as popular, but Back to the Cave is my favorite song from Lita. It's worth a listen.
When I reply to a text during a n emotional
love song reaction, and pretend to care.
Oh man Lita Ford was so hot to me back then. The way their voices blended here is awesome.
Listen to Black Sabbath " Changes " & " Planet Caravan ". Great songs Angela !!! 🎸 2 great ballads from Black Sabbath.
I remember this one too but haven’t heard it in years
The young family band Liliac did a FANTASTIC cover of this a couple of years ago.
This was excellent!! Enjoyed it 😅
Angela, check out "Changes" by Black Sabbath, You'll be very surprised
Since you like both Joan Jett and Lita Ford, you should check out The Runaways, the band they were both in as teenagers in the 1970s.
Merry Christmas Angela !!!!

I hope 2024 is better than this year! Let's hope for the best and leave the world and the past behind! ???
Do you realize that "close my eyes forever" is talking about death?
Of course he's creepy, he's the prince of darkness.

This ballad is a classic give a listen to Just Got Lucky by Joe Boxers... you will enjoy it dear.
Really good analysis here. It was a hit back in the day. Sounds really good on a proper system and LOUD 🤘
1988.
They both wrote the song.
❤❤❤❤
