I was a very shy person growing up, so I literally did not talk to anyone outside my home. Because I didn’t talk much, I developed excellent listening skills, which is essential to good communication. Today, I speak publicly, am witty, etc. People don’t believe it when I tell them I was so shy, I was terrified to talk to anyone. I wish you success and joy on your journey of mastering the skill of communication.
Joe is sleeper. He doesn’t jump right out at you when you first see him, but each time he talks, smiles, laughs, and engages in conversation he gets more and more attractive. He’s a highly quality man for sure, and any lady would be extremely lucky to have him. He gives off the vibe that the woman he chose would never have to worry about her security in the relationship.

They are both observant and both like to avoid the drama. @@husnaavhora6485 exactly. They really are. It's like trying to pair, romantically, two people, where one lives in the north pole and the other lives in a tropical island. As much as people are flexible, being from a certain place with a certain climate and a certain type of people makes it hard to adapt to the opposite kind of the place you grew up in. You must have a super adaptable idiosyncracy to be able to not feel homesick and truly settle in. Or the love must be so big that you don't care where you'll live as long as you're with your person. But that's not realistic cause it sounds good and doable in theory but when you can't fit in while your person will be right where they want to, then the problems will inevitably come.
Joe has really stepped up his game. I believe Serena had a lot to do with that! Joe is a different man, not unlike when he was with Kendall. She calls him "butthead" how degrading.😝😦

They have an age gap that shows all the time by the way serena is and by what she says, she constantly reminds him of his age and how different they are, she is emotionally immature and her age showed once again with what she did to Thomas with all the negative Chinese whispers about their date, badmouthing him for no reason creating a situation about him and Tre out of thin air resulting in the guys attacking him and isolating him even more, also let's not forget she says she doesn't like "an emotional" guy, so you mean a normal person Serena? A person mature enough to express and talk about their feelings? That shows she's not ready to be in a serious relationship especially with someone like Joe. And on the other hand, the most important reason of all, except the age gap, is the fact that Joe wants to settle down and have a family. Serena is nowhere near that stage in life. Literally. So that also shows that, besides the fact that it's not going anywhere and they're not compatible, they won't last simply because of that. Now if Joe picked her precisely because she is young and doesn't want a family, of course at her age, then maybe that means he says he wants a family but in reality he doesn't yet, so that's why he chose the most unavailable person for such a thing. Also, not to mention the constant comparison Joe draws with Kendal and Serena. It's weird. Either way they're way too different and she's way too young for him. Cause she's 23 going 24 and immature and inexperienced in life and relationships. She finds two adults breaking up cause of different needs and cause of distance "very hard". It was heartbreaking if you want to have a family with that person and be forever with them, but very hard? No. It was a mature decision and a clear one. That speaks volumes on how their age gap is a think to consider, cause it brings out their incompatibility. As it should Serena is still a young girl going through womanhood and life experiences. Joe wants to settle in and have a family. So going from Kendal, who despite of her emotional intelligence was immature at times, then imagine how much more immature Serena is for Joe. But to tell you the honest truth I think Joe is equally immature and hyperbolic for his age. You can't tell me a 35 year old that claims they want a family will achieve that by being with a 23 year old. It's ridiculous. Two completely different stages in life. So that to me tell me that Joe is still not ready for a family and to seriously committ for the long run with someone. He may truly want these things, I do believe that he does, but not yet and he just doesn't admit it to himself, so he goes for the most unavailable person for such a thing (to start a family with). Even if they get engaged in they end, to me, they seem pretty incompatible, as every 23/24 year old seems with a 35 year old person. Joe is closer to 40 than he is to 20. That says it all. I think he still wants to experience life as well and not truly committ yet but he wants to seem mature and dependable and trustworthy cause that's his likeability factor, that he's "boyfriend/husband material" in comparison to most men that went on paradise. And that boosts his desirability and bankability. Which is by no means a bad thing. On the contrary it's a great thing for him. He is after all a young adult in my opinion. I mean Serena, the one that's justified to an extent, as she's so young. Joe being with an emotionally unavailable 22 year old that's nowhere near wanting a family and shouldn't this early in life, means he is also very immature for his age and has no actual relationship experience other than Kendal. He's a late bloomer as it seems. And why do I believe he's immature as well? That's a very immature approach in love and relationships and very black and white. Love isn't enough on its own for two people to last Clara, you also need to have mutual understanding and mutual respect, to both be in the same stage in life, to have healthy boundaries and to know how to communicate and to want the same things in a relationship and meet eachother's needs, otherwise how are you gonna walk the same path with a person? Are you gonna string along an unhappy person when they want different things? No. That's beyond wrong. So loving someone means shit if all these things are non existent. There are people that are in love that are toxic for eachother. Does that mean that love should conquer all and that the toxicity should be swept under the rag and tolerated for example? There are people that are victims of domestic viol ence that love their ab user. Does that mean that they should stay? Because by your logic, love is enough and the solution to everything, so they should. The answer is no Clara. They shouldn't. Love doesn't conquer all, people have needs and know what their own happiness should look like and how it should feel, better than any other person. So if those needs and viewpoint on that happiness in the relationship, aren't met with the other person, then people must be mature enough to know when to let go. Regardless of loving someone. You can't stay in an unfulfilling relationship just because of feelings. And that's why the wisest, most mature and most loving thing Kendal and Joe ever did, was breaking up, because they both wanted different things in life at this point and shouldn't stay in a relationship that's done basically nor trap eachother in a dead end because of those differences. That doesn't mean that they weren't in love and that they didn't love eachother, it means the exact opposite, so that's very rude to say, and it's inaccurate, plain and simple. So, again, to say that love conquers all is a very binding thing for a person, very immature and simply not true.

Cause imagine someone having those unhealthy views on love and relationships and having children and passing those views on their children not teaching them about self respect and being emotionally mature to know when to accept that something and someone is not right and walking away from the wrong thing to choose your own health, safety and the love for yourself. From the very beginning, Kendall said she would visit but she didn't see herself rising a family there. But when he gives her ultimate is when he decided to break up with her because she wouldn't move to Chicago.
