    In NDT applications the word
    "INDICATION" = means Evidence.
    "DEFECT" = one or more flaws whose size / shape / orientation / location that do not meet specified acceptance criteria and are rejectable.

    please it is possible to explane again about the lamellar tearing? Because some documents the told us that lamellar tearing occured only in rolled steel products

    Sir,we are doing a project in which we should choose an ndt method to inspect weld defects.What ndt method would be more efficient in terms of cost and other factors such as time consuming etc.Can you please give some idea how can we choose.The chosen ndt method should have advantage over the other methods.Also there are several types of weld defects.We want to inspect any one of the defect using an ndt method.
