I needed this right now. Was learning frontend somewhere in 2020, tried to do too much and I became exhausted, lost all motivation and end up quiting. I started again last month, this time around, I'm taking things slowly and a step at a time.

  • @BarisPalabiyik

My story started with Wordpress, I learned how to make websites, how to stitch up plugins and needed themes, learned page builders, used and learned photoshop, apache servers, cpanel, plesk, dns, different hosting platforms then grasped the html css and how to go static, now after going in to the react space, I can now utilize javascript in both backend and frontend and even for DB work with prisma orm. I finished electrical engineering and been doing web for 3 years, Aaron actually one of the few peoples that led me to the frontend react route since he used to work in uber and his story inspired me. It's nice to see him still doing his thing and going in his own way. I would like to suggest you to handle audio levels and try to keep same distance to the microphone, sometimes it pops and the levels are all over the place, it would improve the quality a lot I feel. Cheers.

5:33 - you mentioned focusing on mastering either frontend or backend. How does one go about doing this for backend? Does one not have to do frontend first? Like say if I decide I want to be a backend developer, I can't exactly build projects in just backend without building a frontend for the project first? So is frontend not a prerequisite for backend?

Interesting video, much appreciate. But man you gotta start using a compressor on your mic audio, or at least keep your position relative to the mic consistent. I've watched two of your videos now and it's very noticeable and distracting how much the audio levels jump up and down. Also the scraggly staticy sound effect you use at different points just sounds like I have a dodgy cable for my headphones. I actually had to troubleshoot my headset cable till i realized you were adding that sound in. No disrespect I'm honestly enjoying your videos. But I'd say audio is an area you gotta put some more thought into
