Dear Ashlee. I am new to your channel. Its people like you that makes us happy with these gorgeous designs. I am going to try my hand at this mosaic in the round. Thank you ❤
I’m definitely making a blanket for my granddaughter’s wedding! His and hers color! THANK YOU for this video. This will be my first mosaic in the round.
Thankful this popped up on my feed, its beautiful what a stunning design. Straight on my to do list. I've done mosaic before but didn't realise it could be done in the round! I'm genuinely excited!
I'm enjoying doing this pattern so much. Thank you. thank you!! Honestly I don't know how you created this. Every round I'm going trust the process. And every round delivers. You, this pattern a million stars and loves!
🤣 it's magic! 😍 I just trust the process too. Drawing the design and crocheting from the finished pattern are completely separate steps for me. So it often feels like I just have to trust that past-Ashlee knew what she was doing 🤣
This is the second video I’ve seen showing mosaic in the round. So cool! I really enjoyed your instructional video. The only criticism would be using the black yarn. So hard to see, but your explanation was very good and helped. Your design is lovely! I think I will actually give it a try! Thank you for the pattern and video!
Thank you for this video. Interesting technique , it has the benefit of not having so many ends at the end of each row.I’m having difficulties seeing the black yarn stitches though, but great demonstration. I hope I see another video from you using lighter colour yarn. 😊
Thank you for your comment! You're not the first to mention the black yarn and I'll definitely remember that for the next videos. This small square uses the same technique: ua-cam.com/video/1pDGutK_shY/v-deo.html
I just have bought this wonderful pattern and now I’m watching your video and I can’t wait to start my mosaic blanket. I absolutely love mosaic crochet. I am hooked .
Thank you so much! This pattern is adjustable, so you can easily make it larger or smaller. To make one the same as I made you'll need 9 black (Obsidian) and 6 light blue (Tundra) of the Furls Wander yarn.
I dont think you can add a pic here. Sometimes a mistake 2 rows back isn't noticeable until something like this (a dc trying to be put on a dc). You could email me or post a pic in my facebook group facebook.com/groups/AshleeBrotzellDesigns
@@sonyafranklin4510 I'm sorry you're having trouble! Often when a row just won't work it's because you've made a mistake in your crochet 1 or 2 rows back. If you can't seem to figure out where the mistake was you can try posting a pic in my facebook group and see what the group consensus suggests! (I'm in there too and count stitches on pics!)
Oh so different, I like it. One suggestion is that when teaching on video, use lighter colours so we can see them more clearly, I do appreciate your lesson on this, I was always curious about this technique. I’m going to try it! Thanks again, God bless
Mam we’d really appreciate if you make a similar design with a lite color, I wanna try this so bad but I can’t see anything😭 Such a pretty design it is ❤️
Perhaps you'd like to try learning the technique from a different video first: ua-cam.com/video/NunsCkH1Dr8/v-deo.html Then you can still make Belle to Infinity by following the written pattern or maybe this video will be easier to follow. My next tutorials and walk thrus will definitely not be using black. ❤️
Beautiful work!!! The < > are called "Guillemets" or "Angle Quotes" « and » are punctuation marks that look like double arrows. They are also known as angle quotes, French quotation marks, or chevrons. In French, they are called "guillemet". However, many French texts use English quotation marks instead.
Hi I am a beginner, can you please tell me which type of yarn should i use for blankets. As the brand you mentioned in the video is not available here in India. I am confused between acrylic, woollen yarns.
Personally, I am not that picky about brands. The design will show no matter what fibre your yarn is made of. Acrylic tends to be the most cost effective option here in Canada but I've heard that in some countries wool and cotton are not so expensive so they prefer those options. The fibre will affect the cost of yarn and the way you wash your blanket. It's probably more important to look at how thick your yarn is and making sure you choose two colora that contrast well. The Craft Yarn Council has charts and more information if you're not familiar with this, but I've used a medium weight yarn for this project (4 - worsted). You may need to double up your strands if you only have access to thinner yarns.
Wow! I love your pattern and your blanket is beautiful. Thank you so much for being such a patient teacher; you are incredible. But please, next time do not use black for an example. It is so hard to see what is being done and I find myself having to go back many times to see exactly where you are placing your hook. But I love your patience and your thorough instructions. Thank you again! Happy crocheting.
Thank you for your comment! I have definitely learned my black yarn lesson 😬 To be honest, I hadn't planned on making a video when i picked the colors, it was an after-thought but I couldn't switch yarn by then because it was part of the collaboration. ❤️
On Ravelry the only option is PayPal but Belle to Infinity is also available on Etsy. There are a few other payment options there I think? ashleeslint.etsy.com/ca/listing/1466983180/belle-to-infinity-center-out-overlay
@@AshleeBrotzellDesigns ok it worked! Now I will print it out too. Thanks, I usually just follow the CAL on UA-cam but I'm getting better at reading patterns now and I love the charts! GREAT JOB ASHLEE!!

Lovely design, I will be trying it next. First time I came across your channel, subscribed! 😊 although I too find it difficult to make out the black yarn 😅
I really appreciate the way you explain and show how to find loops, etc. I am subscribing. Thank you so much!

I'm glad too! I love the center-out option because no cutting!
Beautiful blanket. Thanks for the explanation 👍👍🎉🎉
I'm so glad you liked it!
Love the way you teach! For someone learning this technique, it has been daunting but you have given me hope to do this! Thank you!
I am so glad to hear that!! That's the goal with these videos - that someone can watch and feel capable of doing it themself!
Love your blanket & pattern. Can’t wait to start this ❤
Thank you ❤️ 😊 I hope you enjoy the process!

I agree, black wasn't the best choice for a video. Live and learn! 😬 But it looks great for the blanket 😍
@@AshleeBrotzellDesigns it's outstanding, I just realized that I didn't comment on the design 😕. I am voting for you as winner of 2023 designs.
Hahah I don't think there can ever be a single winner - there are so many amazing designs! But thank you!
Are you are to do a video on how to read mosaic granny square diagrams? A mystery that I’ve never been able to figure out! 🙏 please. Thank you 💜
I don't know if you'd call this a granny square, but maybe it will help?

Hi. I am having trouble with row 34. As you can see from the picture, next stitch should be a dc but it's on top of dc of cc

Beautiful work, dark hook and yard very difficult to see. Explanation very clear. Pity about colour choice for demo. Loved quilt.

Where do I get the pattern and chart I would love to make this berry beautifull
