@@PianoSecretsChannel thanks! Just going for Claire de lune first for a while. This stuff is tons of work but worth it. Am the same guy who requested those other mysterious ones. All these also serve as super foundations for synth meditative ideas as well. I will change my Signals Music patreon guitar lessons to you for a while starting December! He is also great but cannot do them all! Shred channel is also super too for guitar. I don't know if you play.
I absolutely love this tutorial. It helps a lot to understand what I'm actually playing harmonically and also with learning to play it by memory. I think though that your breakdown of the polyrhythms isn't really accurate at times. You try to say the right things but when you play the sections slowly the notes of the triplets in your left hand are uneven because you give every step of the "together-left-right-left-together" the same length. The idea of verbalizing it like that is right but people have to keep in mind that the "left-right-left" succession is faster. When you speed up you do it correctly and I think that you mean the right thing. I just wanted to point it out because for someone not at all familiar with polyrhythms this might be quite confusing when they play it slowly like in the video and then try to speed it up.
I've been practicing this piece all year and this triplets part around 30:46 is breaking me a little because I have 61 keys. Any tips for this? Also, thanks so much for this tutorial, the more I practice, more I like this song :)
@@amanrehman6084 honestly just practice your scales and the speed just comes naturally. Always relieve tension in your hands and do some stretches to make it easier for your fingers to flow.

So I am a beginner, complete beginner, to ultimately play this Debussy piece,Do I need to learn all the scales and chords, or those scales he mentioned? I find this very hard and complex, I think I am missing the basics, can anyone tell me what is the smallest basic I can study to possibly practice this piece correctly, I am thinking this can push me towards going back and learning sheet music then.
@@dianaaa2524 yes just do simply piano the app, I subscribed to it right after this comment, it’s the best thing ever, you will totally learn and feel so good 👍👍
He might have a better answer than me, but I think this piece is too difficult for a complete beginner. I've played for several years and even then this piece is difficult for me to play with the right speed. IMO there's no simple way to learn the notes besides memorize them or be familiar with scales (which you'd also have to memorize). You should know how to read sheet music to play this.
