Faiz Shah you're absolutely right. i have always held kyo in such high esteem for being able to... survive such trauma. i never for a moment thought i could perpetuate it. i've spent a long time learning the subject matter of so many of their songs; i've seen countless translations in different configurations. i feel like these songs are no longer for me - not that he writes for fans! - but it's ethereal to feel them being sung TO me. i'm avoiding zakuro and i'm avoiding fukai because i know that they'll destroy me now.
Thank you guys for exposing me to Zakuro. I've listened to Dir En Grey for the past 8 years or so, but only over the past few has my true appreciation and love for them started to grow exponentially. Only recently did I discover a live performance of Rinkaku. The raw emotion he expressed got me hooked on their live performances. They're the only band I know of that without a doubt is better live. Now back to thanking you for introducing me to Zakuro. The live performance Peri uploaded of Zakuro is something I treasure so dearly now despite having only heard it for the first time yesterday. I've never experienced a performance that made me take on the singer's pain and made me feel like I truly understood. I'm not necessarily going through a tough time, but when he's breaking down towards the end and singing with complete anguish, I nearly broke down myself in the middle of the sidewalk. Thank you Peri for translating and uploading their art. Even without translations, I can understand the emotion, but the lyrics of course add another level to the experience. I feel compelled to learn Japanese just so that I can close my eyes and listen. So that I can understand the untranslatable nuances.
Thank you. I love that you subbed a newer version of this song. To my mind, it's really interesting to go back to the Gauze version of the PV (so VK!!!) and then to this. The evolution of the skill of everybody in the band is remarkable. Not that they were ever "bad" but they've all become craftspersons. Kyo has learned a lot about what he can do with his voice technically and is now one of the best vocalists I've ever heard, across all genres. (I am an old person and I listen to everything, so that's saying something.) Cheers. : )

And especially Kyo s lexical field (cause it's the one I'm used to the most) I still like to read your translations. You (and a decade ago, Kotoba Factory) are the only one I trust and prefer to Jewels translations. A lot of times I feel I could do better than her translating Kyo's lyrics. (Don't get me wrong. She's doing a great job. It's not easy at all. I'm well aware of that) I just feel like she tends to over simplify and she's a bit too literal as well. (And I'm jealous of her. Are you not, perri? Wouldn't it be awesome if you were the official translator ? XD) Edit: oh and the dummy that I am forgot about Kaya chan's translations !!! They're quite good too hahaha .... I guess it makes 3 people xDD

それだけメジャーの音響やレコーディングスタジオのクオリティが高いという事だと思います。ドラムはわかりませんがギターはおっしゃる事わかります。
