I dont get why some people dislike Blaine. I love podcasts featuring the main four (Gus, Barb, Gav, and Burnie), don't get me wrong. But I also love the podcasts with Blaine coming in off the bench to sub in for somebody.
Blaine is cool. He seemed when I first saw him to be a regular kinda jockish, frat boy. But that’s totally not him at all. I’d gladly have a beer with him.
GTA Cleveland who's blaine? The cast today is gus, buff gav, barb, The burns, and gus. Buff gav and buff barb are some of the best subs they have. Though geoff is thee best sub they can ever have.
It's only a problem when Blaine is on with some of the other live action guys, especially Brandon. Then they just feed off each other and dig themselves into deeper and deeper holes of cringe.
Isn't it wild that these people are such an important part of my life and are influencers on me and yet I have never met them and they do not even know about me? I love Rooster Teeth.
Barbara secretly recorded the room service guy and was about to play it live to thousands? That's gonna be a yikes from me, glad Burnie and Gus stopped her.
I am sure there is more than enough voice clips of Burnie over the years of Podcasting to make that happen. Just don't be alarmed some times he yells at you.
I dunno. People are praising the new character designs, but they look like CGI-d G1 toys. It's just weird. And it's preventing me from taking it seriously. They looked a lot better in the previous movies.
Matthew Bakos I gotta agree, though I never actually watched Transformers as a child. The new one looks like Asian toys or something. Whenever I see them, I am reminded of toys who had a series created around them to sell more. I half expect the Cinema to sell me Transformers toys after the movie. The other movies at least looks like I expect they would "if they where real"
It was a meta joke though about black face. Jamie Foxx years later asked RDJ to play a Mexican and the dude was nervous about it, and Jamie Foxx was like, but you pulled off black face.
1:04:40 I didn’t know that Gus watched Last Week Tonight! I love that show. I’ve watched almost every episode of it. And they’re all free on UA-cam, too, which is great!
That Superman time travel scene with the Earth spinning backwards is a universally misinterpreted scene. Superman went back in time by flying faster than light, and the earth spinning backwards was just a visual cue to let you know that time travel was happening. Superman did not reverse the Earth's rotation to go back in time.
Sky-diving with a cord is typically called "static line", at least where I'm from. It's phenomenal - though having to check/control your own chute opening and descent is terrifying. From 3500ft the LZ looks like a postage stamp and trying to hit it is a nightmare. Still; best thing ever :)
Good to see them able to talk about him without tearing up. It shows that they're all in a healthy place over what happened and are moving forward, which is probably exactly what he would want.
Stop saying RIP Monty it's actually annoying. You need to move on and not say it every time he is mentioned, you dont see anyone that was WAY closer to him then you talking about his death at every mention of his name
@@michaeloconnor5904 you didnt mention anything about other people. You just said you're happy they moved on I was more towards people who refuse to move on and seem to just say RIP monty at this point to make them selves get attention and come off as a good person
I had absolutely the same reaction to Jack Ryan as Burnie. I really enjoyed it and was immersed in the story when I was watching it, and then immediately after the credits I felt like it fell short in so many ways.
I will never forget when i was 13 and went to the mummy ride that Gus talked about, and I was waiting in line and saw that there was a guy that was hiding in a place to scare people, so decided to scare him back and he got scared even more than the people in line
As a hotel worker, if we're sold out nobody is getting early check in anyway, so there's no difference from if you walk away or come to check in. I've posted a bit to Tales from the Front Desk, it's a great subreddit to ask hotel questions as well as read stories
As someone who was a housekeeper, don’t worry about just walking out! Housekeeping will come by and knock on all of the doors that they have to clean and the hotel I worked at was rubbish at communicating which rooms had left and which rooms hadn’t. Save yourself the trouble and just leave
Dude I 100% believe the kid he's talking about on the tram during the mummy ride was me lmao, I had that exact experience when I was a kid. I'm sure it wasn't, but who knows lol.
As a hotel manager the reason why the housekeepers are so insistent on cleaning your room is because they don't get paid for that room. Depending on the hotel they get paid by the hour or by the number of rooms they clean. So by someone not wanting their room to be cleaned that day they miss out on that money.
37:45 you got the cause and effect backwards. Superman did not stop and reverse the Earth rotation to cause time to reverse. He stopped and reversed time which made the Earth rotate backward. For example, film a ball rotating then play the video back in reverse.
As someone who works at a front desk, first, off it's not rude to walk out., we kinda expect it. if you want to avoid speaking to the desk but still want to check out. go set down your key on the desk say your room number with a smile, and keep walking like you have something else to do, or simply tell them you are in a rush. If you know you will not be needing housekeeping please let the front desk know upon checking in so we can let the housekeepers know. and r/TalesFromTheFrontDesk is awesome
Yeah, that suit's from a _different_ Secret War where Nick Fury sends a bunch of heroes into another country on a mission, but it's a completely dark mission so no one can find out about it and turn it into an international incident -- so everyone gets a Secret War suit. And after the mission SHIELD wipes everyone's memories. It's a pretty crazy comic.
