Fortunately for the A2000 owners, there's an RGB2HDMI option.
Exactly. I think it makes more sense now to use these Amber chips to resuscitate 3000s. A 2000 could have a toaster in the video slot and still have 31kz from a pi2hdmi.
When the blues get you, give it a tug.
Great card, I found one in the A2000 with the MB you fixed last March. Card works great with my Dell LCD monitor.
*Chris presses the red button*, That was easy. Lucky you found out it was the VGA cable before you started testing everything. Take care.
Thanks Dr Chris 👍🏻 I’ve learnt today that if I need an Amber chip, I know how to get one now 😉 Cheers 🍻
For good luck, you should also mark the insides of the case with one of your feet!
That's right rubbing it on your belly is only half the good luck charm!
I had one of these boards. One of the best buys I ever made for the 2000. The hi-rez flicker on the Amiga was awful.
This was very informative. Especially the explanations around the hardware. Learned something new :)
Thank you Chris you are a champ love your work. Cheers.
Here is the reason why we see so many rev4 fixes. Family visits.
I found a new in the box 2320 Amber board in my collection of Amiga goodies (that were scattered in numerous places all around the house). I used it in one of my 4000s until I found my Cybervision64 with scan doubler. It is a useful card, but I found that over time it needs to be readjusted a bit. I never bothered to see if there was a specific reason for that.
title screen of this video looks like the smoking man in x-files!
Kickin´ out videos left and right, love it!
Ambers are a bitch to find. I was lucky enough to get one off the old Amibay for a ReA3000 board. I also kept an eye out for the SuperDMAC. I hope the ReSDMAC project comes to fruition sometime soon. One of these days hopefully you will show us your collection of 37+ Amigas.
