Alice's Skill 1 is unique and weird, it deducts a fixed number of 0.175sec from a teammate's charge time, which is Negligible on most characters, but a wooping 50% buff for sober Scarlet's 0.35sec short charge time. Teamed with Alice, sober Scarlet can slash up to 17 times in burst instead of the regular 14 times.
I see them as official couple now.
This seemed very interesting, so I checked the skill description, but it doesn't mention a fixed number? It just says the normal charge speed increase, am I missing something here?
@@faxer999 the in-game description is crappy af in this case probably due to poor translation. The CN version states that it "boosts charge speed *based on Alice's charge speed* ", which is still bad wording. What it really says is " *reduce charge time based on Alice's base charge time* " which is *(11.67% at level10) X (1.5sec base charge time) = 0.175sec* . This has been a big mystery among Nikke Communities until Redhood and sober Scarlet provide enough evidence to prove it.
@@faxer999 "caster's charge speed" which translates to 11.67% of the 1.5 second charge time of Alice deducted to affected allies. this was proven by Red Hood due to the damage increase mechanic on her charge speed. It was increasing by that amount instead of something else

This is honestly such a good video. I've been playing nikke with no handholding and just pulling for characters I like and accidentally breaking through the 160 wall (my units are level 192 as of now). I've decided to watch a bunch of nikke videos just because I was curious on how to do more damage. I found this channel and it's been a great help, learned about stuff i didn't even know existed before. Keep up the good stuff bro!

As a new player should i use milage ticket for Scarlet black shadow cause i only need one copy to Max lv cap or should i u use gold milage ticket for Modrena bexause she is one of meta but i have red hood and bunny even other meta like alice should i really need Modrena but i think the meta nikki i have right is enough to beat chapter16 boss so should i need to use gold milage ticket to get the copy of SC black shadow guide me ?

Yeah dude, you’re good to go with those 2 units. As soon as you get their best skills up to 6 or 7, you’ll breeze through most content. My current wall is Nihilister, but I suspect leveling up Scarbs a bit will change that.

Man, we've been suffering an abundance of riches lately: with Red Hood, Winter Ludmilla, Scarlet Alter, Modernia, we're gonna be struggling with skill and burst manuals, OL armor, and bond-making. And that's not even counting the unit from the New Year's selector.
Just hoping the next banner is going to be some crap Elysion unit so I can get some time to recover my gems and tickets!

I recommend pulling in the Scalter banner since there are some probabilities to get Modernia, anyway keep saving and don't pull until the last day

Man, they've finally give us some good Wind code DPS and you didn't even mention Guilty for a team comp? I can't believe it smh just imagine the most important thing about edgy Scarlet (elemental damage) being considerably buffed, i mean Material H in current Solo Raid is there to make the Wind codes shine EVEN WITHOUT THE BUNNIES, Guilty/Scalter/D trio is really lethal for that and very flexible for the other slots, just think about it, anyways great video as always, you rock it

As Prydwen put it, you can hit a new breakpoint during Full Burst with Alice's S1 at lvl 10 and a single Charge Speed OL line of 4.9%+ on Scarlet. This probably only matters on boss encounters... but that's where Scarlet excels so yeah.
you actually really only 4.8% IIRC. However, it's recently discovered that ultimately, it doesn't matter. As Darklet snap shots the attack stat and skills the instant she release full charge.
that extra 4.8% will help her to hit the enemy before burst cycle ends, but generally doesn't change the burst cycle output
Is that so? I'll have to look at the updated charts. What I saw was that with Alice tagging along and 4.9% (the next line below is 4.6%) you could sneak an extra full charge and added slash effect (ideally the last one, but that'd be bonkers to control for).

Scored modernia, liter, rapunzel and black Scarlet, still have 20 free tickets left over. Makes up for my terrible luck with snow buddy

I think Modernia is better overall if you compare her and BS in all game modes. She was a game changer when I got her, except for PvP.

rn i think i have a meta team so i dont even need other SSRs anyway (liter, naga, tia, event scarlet and modernia.) but having some other good SSRs such as alice, centi and redhood would be nice. (yes i know red hood is a pilgrim.)

I tried to pull for Scarlet: Black Shadow but got Rapunzel and 2 other off-banner SSRs in 140 pulls. Then I got the SSR selector and used my Golden Mileage Tickets to pity Modernia since I don't have her yet. I hope I didn't make a mistake... At least we still have 12 days left, so I'll try to dump whatever's left into her banner again.

I didn't get her during the banner, but she spooked me on the Crown banner recently. Once I get Doro, my Pilgrim collection will be complete.

just pick the one you like you literally cannot go wrong with any of the two.
though Modernia does make campaign so damn easy aoe and single target dps in one.
Scarbs aoe can be inconsistent but her boss killing capability is second to none.
@@skyMcWeedsI'm still in the early game so I've just been using both until I can get more characters to make two different teams. I'd say it's working out so far.
@@keeysOST yeah early game is pretty much an easy sweep for Modernia and SBS they gonna massacre every rapture in their way. Its by later stages that difficulty will begin to ramp up with the famous spikes being Nihilister end boss of stage 20 and Mother Whale end boss of stage 21.

Really, the pity system of tickets is not enough. I'm not gonna whale on this game but god damn it feels stupid to invest so many resources and get nothing.
Well, S2 Actually Useless when you with Bunnies, BUT if with Other team, Most are suggestion Lvl 7
I wouldn't compare her to RH that much, because even tho both of them have beautiful dps, RH is an assassin for strong enemies and bosses, while Jetstream Sam also clears trash mobs like 2B, but better, because she does it more frequently than once per 2 bursts
I'm honestly kind of puzzled at people treating RH as just DPS. Am I crazy or is her team-wide attack buff her biggest perk? Sure it can't be spammed indefinitely, but I find fights that last more than 2 cycles of burst are like 1% of the fights I do.
@@zeriel9148 her B3 is like SW and rapist, but continues. The core is the pierce, which can deal more damage to bosses and also come in handy against stronger enemies in the campaign, while also being a monster in the arena ignoring the barriers
@@sandsundertail6936 Yeah I get how her skills work, I'm just surprised more people don't use her for short fights for the buff, since as far as I'm aware it stacks? Basically doubling the amount of +atk a unit like Scarlet gets from her selfish burst. Although I guess that gets into the question of whether you want to use RH's 2/3 burst too. But as someone who just got her at 0 star and didn't invest heavily into her, I find her atk buff super nice to buff up other characters.
@@zeriel9148 it's just the comfort of having your B1 at 20s cooldown and going for 1-1-3, because B3s are usually more broken and you can't have RH as your only B1, because of defence missions, but you can still use her as B1 if you don't have Doro on pilgrim tower and for fun you can still use her in B1 to boost your favorite comp, because she's just a better Liter, but using her for her B3 is just more eficient
So Scarlet Alter is basically what happens if Jetstream Sam got a sex change.
after finishing the new year new sword event now it make sense why old scarlet are still on par if not stronger than drunk scarlet, it is because the drunk scarlet is just simply adapted Rose's sword style because her original sword was taken by the ark. Drunk Scarlet is not a stronger version she just change her sword style. And for anyone saying that Rose are stronger than Scarlet, at first but in their final fight they are equal.
I think it's mainly that Scarlet found another calling outside slaying Raptures, and so she devotes more of her time farming than honing her skills (Raptures also evolved to become stronger against bullets while regressing against melee, meaning drunk Scarlet didn't really have to do much to kill them)
@@FrizFroz it's not true tho, in overzone and some other events is said that drunk scarlet is a better version of her past, she is more proficient in sword fighting, more independent and strong, and it proves that bscarlet isn't as good as drunk scarlet for almost all content, only bossing

Being a wind code is the cream on top of everything else. BS Scar hits very hard even at lower investments and can keep up with the top dps picks.
This Solo Raid being weak to wind everyone will be using her 😂😂😂
Guilty/Scalter/D trio are just sweeping this Raid
There is an edge case to me made for leveling her skill 2 to 10, and that's CP padding.

Guillotine is like a mini Scarlet, she just need good OL lines and a good team comp (mainly elemental ones, usually Mast) to bright, but why would you use your resources in a non-meta unit tho?
Ha waste materials for the step up banner , ridiculous, I used materials for all 3 , finally got modernia pretty easily, finally got Scarlet relatively difficulty but very infuriating and just got what I could out of step up with no real loss and played in arena and the raids
No solid wind DPS, My 50% hit rate Noir beats my Modernia and Scarlet. (all full with OL gear)
I need Alice. Alice and Maxwell are the 2 units that are really fucking evading me and getting on my nerves.
