In RVN we had USAF fighter jocks want to fly in my UH-1 because it FELT fast at 12 inches AGL. Nap of the earth is fun but the pilots better know their stuff. I’ve done Mach 1.2 during test flights in jets but at 30,000 feet there is no sense of speed worse is the indicated airspeed was around 280 knots. The MACH meter told the number but it was disappointing to not see 700+ knots. Love your videos.
Im so jealous, and happy for you, brother. I used to fly my FAR 103 'Cobra' ultralight, produced by Advanced, low, over long fields, and it was great! Someday i hope to find a good deal on the right ELSA, or another ultralight. I'm actively looking now. Happy/safe flying, brother!!!
This seriously almost brings tears of enjoyment, if that makes sense. And through this video is how i learned about the other one referring to when your furl us running low! What a clever device!

Thank you!
En Argentina estás prácticas son muy comunes con todo tipo de aviones , desde entrenadores , cazas hasta C130 ! Están locos los pilotos !!! Jajaja
This is beautiful! Still crossing my fingers for the chance for a license
Just awesome. What a beautiful day too 👍🙂

I want a Quicksilver so bad
Great song great video
For the non aviation peeps, that little metal rod sticking out of that red thing on the nose of the plane, is the fuel gauge. Real high tech lol
To me this is real flying.
Pray you don't lose an engine at this altitude, otherwise we'd have a fishing video.

Fire walled... Oh yeah..2800 rpm cylinder head Temps looking good....!!!
You just saw a man who knows how to fly a Piper Cub 👍🏼👍🏼
I need to go to the states, ive said it before but damn i wish we could fly this low legally where i am!! What a blast mate!
Yeah, I know what you mean. Can't do this is Australia without the fun police paying a visit.
@@lukemolloy2971
i like the "fun police" 😂
Fast enough for me!!
Billy Idol 😊
Is there a reason for flying from the back seat? Or just your preference?
For weight and Balance. It;s also a better view and more Room
Even more fun at 100kts 😆
We can only do low pass over the runway here. I wish.
Just make sure you don't find out how fast a Cub can go from 65 to zero!
Nice, wish I had the money to get into flying
How close is the camera to the prop?
About a foot
Wonderful
I am speed!!!
Come my child and board the B A N A N A P L A N E
Am I seeing right that you've got the camera on the cowl with a suction cup mount?
Yeah but it's Safety Wired to the cowl Clips on both sides
@@Bananasssssssss aaahhhh gotcha! I was about to say, you trust that suction cup mount way more than I do! Lol
So in class G airspace you can do whatever you want?
Nah, stil have to stay 500 ft from person, vessel, structure.
@@Bananasssssssss how about from a farmers field?
Prueba hacer eso en la costa sobre la ola
Sea Sick ?
Not even close ! 😂
Well you had to be at at least 20ft or you woulda clipped a wing.😊
That’s faster than 65 mph or the film is sped up.
Not afraid of birds? Awesome tho
Nah, I fortunately fly slow enough its easy to stay out of their way
Where's the Chief!?
Getting a new brake liner 😁
