    we have 7 trees here in tucson area in 4th year. 4 Li, 1 sugar baby and 2 chico. the chicos were bare root. great tasting li and sugar. the chico tastes like apples.

      only problem we have is leaf cutter bees

      @@wesmiddaugh230 Same with me. I finally figured out that if you spray them with kaolin clay the bees won't touch them and it doesn't harm the bees. Kaolin clay also repels other pests. I wish I'd figured it out sooner, before they nearly decimated my jujubes and grape plants. But now I know.

    Wow those leaves are so healthy and big compare to the big box stores … how much Gary’s soil needs to be in ground when transplant from pot ?

      Depends on the type of plant, who grew it, and the native soil. Usually for a 5g deciduous fruit tree grown in the right soil, in very heavy clay you need about 1 cubic foot

    What's up with the name tag? I could see how other workers in the store need name tags. Why would Gary need a name tag? As if people don't already know who he is?

      A good percent of our daily customers are new or just haven’t heard of his classes or met him yet. His tag is also more unique since it’s the Certified California Nursery Professional (ccnp) tag
