We could've had something like Nintendo did with Super Mario All-Stars and had a compilation of The 1st three Sonic Games and Sonic & Knuckles in one complete gaming package! They should've done something like that YEARS AGO! I guarantee it would've sold more than the Sonic games that came out these past couple of years
Interesting fan-game. Always wondered what Sonic 1 with 3D graphics would look like. If you remember showcasing Shadow the Hedgehog S3&K Style v2 a while back, it got updated to v4 since then. I am requesting you to showcase it soon, alongside my Modern Sonic Music Pack which is getting it's final update marked as v5 later this week. You don't have to take this request into account, but it'd be nice.
Redux has effectively become the Sonic equivalent of New Super Mario Forever, the 20I2 entry by members of Softendo that served as a spiritual sequel to the original 2004 version of Mario Forever by Buziol Games, it is probably the best example of Digitized Tridimensional Graphics in what is still effectively a Two~D engine with Flash Animation elements and this is exactly what Luke Gray is managing to replicate, only with Hedgehog Engine~style physics; in many ways, this is what Sonic the Portable (Sonic the Hedgehog 04: Episode 0I) should've been on the gameplay front, it is a more accurate implementation of how Sonic functioned in Planetary Pieces (Unleashed/World Adventure) when not boosting and the graphical handling was always commended by me even during the Mushroom Hill showcase during an engine test; the implementation of the CD '93 camera when Sonic makes it to Speed Level 06 is also an important must for this era, and I am happy that Luke had planned on using this from the get~go, fate knows that every fangame and ROM hack needs this in some capacity and the level of response time that is gained from that 064 Pixel Horizontal shift (at least on a 0320x0224 screen; I would need to check thiis engine's internals to know how much it pans) will forever remain essential to general players and speedrunners alike, I still wonder why this wasn't implemented for Sonic the Hedgehog 03 or Chaotix during their original development and it absolutely would've changed how certain zones' notorious traps and segments are interpreted by the community today.
Cool except Sonic looks off, maybe it’s cuz of the model looking like it was ripped from Sonic 4. The special stages could be better as well, I don’t like how boring it is. looks like a worse sonic 2 special stage.
This will be sonic graphics in 2014.
2:45 😮😮what happened to that invincibility? It doesn't renew the timer if already active?

Looks nice, truly a great fan remake.

Why are the character designs all over the place?
This demo is an beautyfull masterpiece in all the extend of that word🤩🤩🤩🤩
Unlike most Sonic fan games I actually like this one
Why don’t you like most sonic fan games there usually pretty high effort and fun😢
some of them just don’t catch my interest and some of them just look boring
@ oh ok
@@reimufan205Boring is ironic since this is literally just "this will be sonic 1 in 2014"
Considering sonic 2 HD is still vaporware I don't have high hopes for this
Yea me neither.
El desarrollador está actualizando esto todo el tiempo... No es como los vagos de Sonic 2 HD
What should i call this game?:
Sonic 1 remake or sonic 1 modern edition?
Wish one??
Going to assume these are not models, so what, are they doing the donkey Kong country thing? Looks rather uncanny in a way
Sonic 3 angel island revesited new mod player palette studio recomended

If only there wasn't this ugly character model & running animation from Sonic 4. Everything else looks stunning.
Let's mayhaps say it's fixing the flaws of S4, bringing it back to the originals?
