We use them as well, they are a must when fishing for big fish and small fish sucks out the maggots. I personally caught quite big breams and barbels with those Gulp maggots.
Depends where and when you fish and of course, what you fish for. :) If you go for big fish, night fishing when small fish are not so active it's the best solution. During the day, it's recommended to find deep waters to avoid small fish. On the other hand, maybe some fisherman just want to get whitefish. :)
Well, taking in consideration that the hook is not visible and can't work, we can assume that it's a rig accessory rather then an actual second hook. :)
I really dubt that will float... that piece of fake corn cannot float with all that weight, hook + maggots... If it does, please put a link from where i can buy that fake corn !
Thank you for watching, your support means everything to us!❤
Awesome rig 👍 caught loads of carp and catfish on this rig , my go to winter rig 👌
Thanks! It does work better in winter fishing.
Nice trick. Do you have any trick for maggots on top a pop-up or wafters? Corn is to small, i will catch bream..
In maximum 2 weeks we will post at least 2 more videos with maggots for pop-up rigs. We have a lot of content coming up this year. Stay tuned! 😀
Didn’t want particularly to deal with maggots, but I have a bunch of those Berkeley “GulP” miniature worms and wrigglers…. I wonder if they’d work?

Very usefull, Im going to give it a try
Thank you!
Haha. The eels on the Severn will love that. Be prepared for a lot of ‘taps’ in the summer. 😀
Take in consideration that in Europe, a lot of people fish for Barbel with corn and maggots combined. You might be amazed with the results. :) Cheers!
@@SierraFishingTV I’ll definitely give it a try. Is it pop up corn?
@@bizbizley yes, it is. The hooks should balance it out.
Ginious!! Tnx for an idea!
Glad you like it!
Very good, but I think the small fish will eat it all before the big fish come

How do I determine the best time of day to fish?
Depends on the fish ofc, for carp fishing, the best period is morning and dusk. For monster carp, night time is the best.
I don't think you could use that rig in England. You could use a maggot clip instead or a hair rig with some thin braid to thread the maggots on.
Yes, some countries don't allow 2 hook rigs. We have the Medusa Rig as alternative, here: ua-cam.com/video/va39V4r5YPM/v-deo.html
Great idea BUT be careful that your fishing area permits the use of two hooks on one rig.

Thank you!
Is that pop up ?
It's a floating silicone corn.

Check MarelePescar. :) They have really good floating corns.
