Jeeps seem to be a magnet for rear bumper damage, This past "mild" winter 2 of my tenants had to have this done... Body shop charged them both $1320.00 parts, paint and labor... Great video brother, as always clear and concise... Have a great weekend Carl !!
My 2010 WK is a bit different to this. Crucially there are 2 more clips under the light clusters which are stiff as hell to remove. The cut out on both side are also very different and if you pull the bumper out from the side like that you will crack the bumper. Mega hassle to replace a cracked fog lamp
I just replaced my fourth bumper on my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee and everyone has had the same impact point that your vehicle has. Left rear . I now have 4K front/rear cameras installed Excellent video and was a great help in the replacement. Thank you.
Nice job, good vid...have removed my rear bumper on 2 occasions, once for installing a tow bar, and just recently to replace a faulty park assist sensor.....my suggestion is "remove the wheel arch covers" (Time 7.07 minutes in your video)to get better access to the 10 mm nut, it is easily achieved by taking out 2 further plastic retaining clips on both wheel arches. But again well done on the instructional video!!!
Nice video! I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7l Hemi model. It comes with a factory tow hitch package. Mine is rusted and I didn't know if something like that can be replaced or not ?
Thank you! I had real trouble finding these. The guys at AutoZone even tried to persuade me that plastic rivets and riveters for them do not exist and they can only be aluminum or steel. Even when I showed them the rivet that I took off the car they told me I'm supposed to install it with a screwdriver (how in the world???)

Ray Whitsell That tip actually helped a lot haha. Thanks and cheers m8!
Thank you for this walk through. I successfully managed to remove and reinstall the bumper with alot less trouble than I had originally anticipated!
really helpfull with the removal part, had to change a busted fog light. it helped out a lot to know that there's a 10mm screw holding it there
Nice video! My Grand Cherokee Limited 2008 comes with a chrome trim in the rear bumper, which is don't know how to remove it. It's a pain.... Thanks!!
Need one for the front bumper now. Lol good video!! Very informative!
Helped me a lot, thanks.
Thank you very much for the video from spain

good detail, thumbs up😄
Can u do the same for a 2007 Jeep Patriot
Looks great and it matches good too.
Very nice Vid. I'm going to try it.
thanks for tutorial, my bumper is next.
nice job
Where did you find replacement bumper and did you paint yourself or local shop? I need to do similar for my 2005 WK.
The local body shop got it from the Jeep dealer and painted it for me.
Cool
Looking good!
Nice job!
I noticed that the work was done by half a Carl. What is your secret of the weight loss?
Secret program lol.
Where did you get those rivets for the wheel wells?
Chris Sullivan they came with the rivet tool kit from Harbor Freight

Will this work for the 2009 Laredo?
If body style is the same then yes.
Great video! Where did you purchase the rear bumper? I've been searching for the 08 rear bumper with parking aid sensor holes, but cannot find one.
Came from the Jeep dealer. I think you have to cut the holes yourself but don't quote me.
Thanks a bunch! I appreciate it. I'll be changing it myself so you're video is extremely helpful!
I found one on Amazon. RockAuto has them too.
