I just discovered this song after deciding there must have been some good stuff on Never Say Die and since then I've been searching for a version where I can hear the bass and drums better. Thank you Sab Blackath! The whole thing is just beautiful, this song has renewed my life spirit. So many great lyrics in this song, but finishing it with ""Forget all your sorrows, don't live in the past, and look to the future, cause life goes too fast, you know" is my new mantra.
and to believe Iomi and Osbourne were at each others throats during the making of the 'Never Say Die' album barely made it to the shelves and sparked the end of a lifelong friendship between them and splitted an iconic band forever. (And I'm not talking simple arguments more like Bar Room Brawls) 4John sought a very successful solo career. Black Sabbath was never same. Ian Gillan of Deep Purple tried and sang on the Black Sabbath BORN AGAIN album (it was way ahead of it's time... people just didn't know how to take yet without Ozzy's singing. Ronald James Padavona of Elf aka Ronnie James Dio helped to secure the age old luster of the band by bringing them back to life for many seasons. 👍🏼🤟🏼✌🏼🤘🏼🙌🏼
Like everything else, us old timers and our music fades over the generations. BUT the music will reach some still.. 200 years from now some young minds will find this great music.. Like some people find their way to Mozart... GREATNESS will live on, have NO fear in that..
Geezer busts through so incredibly strong and clear on this one. I love learning his riffs, they have really improved my playing-he is one of the great masters.
Ozzys best vocal and lyrical work with Sabbath. Iommi's tone isn't as heavy on this album and it didn't sell as well as the other albums but this song is one of the best .
I wish Warner Brothers would release the COMPLETE promo videos from Sabbath instead of the butchered versions with talking over them.I would LOVE a complete Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Hard Road, Rockin Roll Dr....etc All we have are these fan made ones.
Yes he does, I play bass guitar and love to play black sabbath, geezer butler can be very annoying to play sometimes because he will play the main riffs and melodies and then out of nowhere play multiple random notes at once, and you don't even hear these specific notes in the actual music, making it seem pointless
@@ianculp247As of lately I am not following the tabs exactly as they are played. If it sounds good to me then thats all the really matters. In fact, its better to improvise and try to play my own version. Its good to know the original though.
It was time. They would have festered even more, and some of his solo work was worth the death of the original lineup. The direction the band took for this album was a phoenix that only partially rose from the ashes. Everyone needed to evolve.

The most underrated sabbath album. Rock on \m/
Really?!?!? THIS IS probably my favorite album by then! And this is one of my fav songs!
Excellent... Beautifully written
This should be a world anthem
Man, when Sabbath were ON they were RIGHT ON.
God, weren't they just!
so ON with this song!
They were on most of the time

Man , I bought this , when I was in high school. I have been listening again. I absolutely love these songs , better than when I was in high school.
If they don't play this in my funeral, I'm not coming. Maybe not dying either
Sabbath rules, the music the lyrics ..the world should listen to Sabbath. The horrible music the kids listen to today .. I break out in hives

Yeah I’m 13 and I listen to Sabbath. It’s Just so good.
Yep- I'm about 60 but have a 16 yr old child, she adores Sabbath-
Don't fret!!

Beautiful Video of one of my favorite Black Sabbath songs. I wish this song would last forever.
This song will last forever!
If nothing else, this song proves the unique genius of BLACK SABBATH! No one could pull this off the way they do.
A beautiful, life affirming poem. Musically perfect..
This was one of my nephews favorite songs.. I play it EVERY Friday for him.. RIP Jefe 🤘🍻

I cried when I was 15, almost 40 now , I still cry with this one .
Ozzys best vocal and lyrical work with Sabbath. Iommi's tone isn't as heavy on this album and it didn't sell as well as the other albums but this song is one of the best .
One badass album
It's beautiful song of Sabbath...🤘🎸🎶
I love this album!
60's, 70's and 80's, the best three decades ever for Rock'n'Roll and pop music in general
Brilliant.
GREAT LYRICS
Ozzy said it himself this album was not a good album for sabbath. But i love this song
Side one a masterpiece.
Ozzy is wrong IMO, it's a great album.
This song and Never Say Die were 2 great tracks off that album. The rest of the album is so-so.
Iommi said the same of sabotage
@@rodsmolter5046 Juniors eyes and Johnny blade are the 2 best songs on the album
Great song
My therapy.
Beautiful lyrics !!
love it !!
I plan on getting "forget all you're sorrows don't live in the past and look to the future that life has to qeastion us" tattooed somewhere on my body
That's cool but i think the lyrics are different for this song than " life has to question us", i think it says life goes too fast.....
I wish Warner Brothers would release the COMPLETE promo videos from Sabbath instead of the butchered versions with talking over them.I would LOVE a complete Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Hard Road, Rockin Roll Dr....etc All we have are these fan made ones.
NEVER SAY DIE!

This song makes me feel like taking LSD :-)
One of my favourite Sabbaf songs. However, I've always thought that Ozzy sings it in what's known as the "key of Francis Rossi"

Also metal:
Does Geezer always play fast? Seems he plays more notes than I can hear.
Yes he does, I play bass guitar and love to play black sabbath, geezer butler can be very annoying to play sometimes because he will play the main riffs and melodies and then out of nowhere play multiple random notes at once, and you don't even hear these specific notes in the actual music, making it seem pointless

After this Ozzy was fired, big misstake by Sabbath

We'll meet in The End, 2017

You are using the album track for this video. It is not the original soundtrack for it. Very disappointed.
You put the actual album track on this video. This is not the music from the actual "video" filmed for this.
True, but it's about the song and lyrics. I just (conveniently) used the video as background.
Understood! Having the correct lyrics is preferable. I just like the solo on the original video better (it is different).
Wouldn’t it make more sense to say, “Why make the road hard?” instead of “Why make the hard road?” Oh well. The melancholy is hauntingly beautiful.
Really rather wholesale I mean wholesum

Great album with a terrible production.
