@@imnotasalad6963if you just look at the result you’ll think “what kind of bs is this” but if you read the manga you’ll see that Kuroki is overpowered done right. Kuroki is arguably the strongest fighter in Kengan but what make him so strong isn’t a crazy power gap between him and all the other fighters, it come from his experience and knowledge, experience allow him to quickly adapt to his opponent and counter them and his knowledge allow him to analyze his opponent and make strategies to defeat them on the spot. In his fight with Setsuna, Rei and Ohma we can see that he can be hurt by their attack and his attack can be dodge, block, counter but every time we see him beat them by a mile

Goes beyond saying that Gensai could have destroyed Kiryu the moment the fight started.
But he believes in some weird fighter's respect - hence why he allowed Kiryu to dance around for as long as he did.
I also feel he wanted to see what his friend taught kiryu to see if any of the training was actually of good use
More like he didn't know how the martial art his friend looks like in action. So he definitely couldn't destroy him outright before he knows what exactly he's fighting.
@@zaberfangI don't think so because he's very detailed about it like 3:17 he knows Kiryu's Rakshasha's Palm have more movement than Genzan and 6:21 where he knows the difference between their talents. I think he wants to assess Kiryu from knowing what kind of student that Genzan take a liking, what technique he uses to killed Genzan, and how he'd avenge Genzan like should Kuroki kill or spare him, etc.

what makes Kengan Asura so special is Kuroki is basically the anti- plot armor. He defeat the arch rival, the big boss, and the protagonist. All while the everyone plotting and scheming something to someone, he's just there, and neutralize averything in his path. And the storytelling is so good Kuroki never felt like unfair character either, he's just the pinacle of martial arts.
kengan is so well written fight wise. only a few feel like anime bullshit.
He also defeated the cocky friend (lihito) and the "power of love"(rei)

I don't think ppl realise how skilled and technical this battle was. A fight between probably 2 of the deadliest contestants out of everyone. I think if they fought 10 times, kuroki wins 6/10
even that didn’t reach kuroki
I don't know how you came up with that, the only situation where Kiryu wins is if he doesn't have so much brain damage he can't even figure out who's fighting. But having brain damage is practically his entire character until Ohma heals him.
Nah, Setsuna is really strong. He’s not even fighting properly here because he’s crazy and he still managed to hurt Kuroki. When he’s not insane, he’s deadly.

I really wanted Kiryu to win, but it's understandable why Kuroki won. He has far much experience, wisdom, knowledge, and technique compared to all the other Kengan fighters. What makes him really a formidable opponent is the fact that he never underestimates his opponents; no matter how big the gap between them is. He knows full well that underestimating can lead to defeat. His analytical skills goes without saying is remarkable, being able to condoct a counterstrategy on the spot just by seeing a technique once is quite the feat. Kiryu unironically would have a better chance if Kuroki underestimated him and wasn't constantly on-guard regarding his devastating palms.
Although the Palm is devastating, when Setsuna cannot land it multiple times, he just looks like he flailing like a monkey 😂

In a sense, Setsuna did better against Kuroki than Ohma did in his final battle (manga only)
Setsuna was in far better condition though.
To be fair, Kiryu was in peak condition in comparison. I mean Ohma was thoroughly injured when he fought Imai, Kiryu and Wakatsuki. Plus he was literally a few Advances away from dying in the final
But demonsbane X advance was what surprised kuroki more than his fight with setsuna
I happy that chad gensai won that I would of thought plot armor would of saved kiryu but I guessed wrong

He shows what I like about this series. He is one if not the strongest fighter in kengan ashura. But its not because he is super strong or fast to the point nobody can compete. His main strength comes from expirience and knowledge. He can be harmed he can be dodged and most opponents have a physical chance to beat him. In all fights he has to outskill his opponents

Remember folks. The Fox Shadow Style: Blink isnt exactly teleporting but it looks like it.
What Setsunas really doing is moving out of the opponents field of vision the moment they blink and then attacking from a blind spot. So from the audiences perspective Setsuna isnt vanishing hes just moving fast.

@@agitokanoh532 I expected a fight full of emotions like Seki Vs Kiozan or Ohma Vs Raian. Instead it was just Waka being dominated and Julius who's the most durable fighter going down with two kicks.
That's why i love so much this series, u would never ever thought that kuroki would win against mc's rival

Rei is just a horrible matchup with Kuroki, a guy who’s specialty is punching really fast in a straight line against a guy who’s specialty is counters. The game was rigged from the start with that one lol.
