You mean entertainers...friars? Don't think so. Yes they have used or changed the lyrics but do you think that their message will stick in the minds and hearts of the people??? What people saw was pure entertainment!! The modernist take of these supposedly Franciscan friars of Abba's hitsongs are totally off and misplaced from what and why St Francis had founded His religious order...to serve, educate, to preach, help the sick, etc. NOT TO ENTERTAIN for their own self satisfaction and worldly adulations. Just listen to what the emcee had to say after, she even said that was FUN!!! So to those who got entertained, that's it! People were emotionally entertained and spirits were elevated and they were moved by how the men danced and sing so well. Is that what these friars want people to learn and receive? Fun? What happen to repent and turn way from sin, come back to church, believe in the Eucharist, avoid worldly material pleasures. How about showing the people the true essence and meaning of LIVING A CHRISTIAN LIFE? oh no... let's have fun!!!

Preeching..teaching..meeting the femands of the Congregation..etc..they deserve to have a small break like this to destress and teplenish their energy ti carry out all the good works. For those who made unfavorable comments..try being in their shoes just for one day. May Our Good Lord bless them all with the strenth to continue with the good works.

No, they have vowed to be celibate and dedicate their lives in the service of God. I have the utmost respect for these priests who have given up everything, families, finance to serve anywhere in the world on the instruction of the superior of their order and to follow their ideals of their founder St Francis of Assis.
So instead of living a prayerful life, Preaching the word of God, living a contemplative life, encouraging and inspiring people to repent and turn away from sinning....this is what we get from this group of modernist supposedly men of God...
They are celebrating Jubilee Celebration in a hall, with food and cutting of cake in a HALL, cant you hear the tinkling of glasses and emcee in the background, they are not inside a church setting. They are not celebrating MASS before the altar inside the Church. They are celebrating 25 years of priesthood for a fellow priest, the guests are enjoying themselves and seeing their priests their fun side and their singing talents. Why judge so harshly, and bring your politics here. Do you know these priests or you just judge by this few second of clip only.
