The BBC represents such a small section of British society nowadays that it doesn't warrant the licence fee and should be cut loose to find its own way.

Rod Liddle was a bloody good editor. I have listened to the Today Show since I was a teenager and it used to be an excellent show . Now John Humphrys has left it will never be the same . They used to have real battle hardened journalists on the show, people with character and distinctive voices. Now they all sound the same. Because fundamentally they are all the same. It was the same with the News Quiz whose format was ripped off for HIGNFY on TV. In it's early days the panel was made up of real journalists, cynical, funny and sometimes far from sober. Now it's full of "comedians" that no-one outside the M25 has even heard of and are just not funny - by any standards. It's so sad - I have been a Radio 4 listener virtually all my life, now I can scarcely be bothered with it.

I can accurately sum up how the BBC works. On the day that Cameron made his "I will give you a referendum" announcement, I made a written prediction to all my friends and family, that as from tomorrow morning, the "Calais migrant crises" would suddenly, and mysteriously, disappear from our screens completely, (even though it had shoved the "guilt" trip and "racist" trip at the viewer for the last 3 months.) I can tell you right now that Biden will NOT be president, and Trump will be reinstated for a further 4 years. I want you to remember Adam. You heard it from me first, not the BBC. Remember this.

*In their defence The BBC produces absolutely wonderful programs, War & Peace, Poldark, Peaky Blinders, Line of Duty, Call The Midwife, Planet Earth, The Night Manager, Strictly Dancing, Doctor Foster, Gentleman Jack, Happy Valley, the list is endless. I consider my modest licence fee money well spent and for less than £3 a week terrific value compared to 'commercial channels' where you are subject to at least 15 minutes every hour of advertising chair Lifts etc. In France there is an annual TV licence, which, last year, was 116 euros - approx £92. This comes with the taxe d'habitation, which is a local community tax. For many years TV shops have had to inform the government of the name and address of anyone who buys a TV set. The programs are pretty dire! This will soon happen in the UK as many tightfisted cheapskates endeavour to cheat the system - I do not believe ANYONE who states they do not watch the BBC - total rubbish, however I do agree that their 'Political Reporting' is leaning to to the far left, and biased. Watch Sky News Australia for what I consider to be balanced and accurate reporting. In Germany, there is not only a TV license fee, but a **_Radio Fee_** as well for those traditionalists who do not own a TV set. Ordinary TV consumers have the radio fee included in their TV fee.*

You have clearly been brainwashed by the malignancy of the BBC's softening up" agenda. They give you entertainment as a deft means of control. I'm reading David Sedgwick's " BBC Brainwashing Britain". The author is a communications and media lectuer nd journalist. He examines the BBC's Marxist agenda, and how its really a media arm of the Guardian who also have an abject contempt for the working class, conservatives, Christians, White's and anyone pro British. It's well worth a read. Unlike the BBC it's full of facts.

Who would listen to Rod Liddle? This is the man, who, in a recent Sunday Times article, wrote that it would be tempting to string piano wire across the road to catch families of cyclists. I suspect he has lost the morale high ground.

The BBC new web site is obsessed with diversity stories. Many if not most are inane and hardly newsworthy. Why do they proselytise? And yet what is the alternative to Auntie Beeb? The Telegraph web site is very biased to the right. The Guardian’s is to the far left. The Indie is on the softer left. The Daily Mail’s is on the hard right. R4 is at times achingly right on, and yet which other radio station provides intelligent conversation and sitcoms? The Today programme has amazing journalists such as Justin Webb, Sarah Montague and Humphrys. Or at least it did. The reason Montague left highlights the fake right on-ness of the BBC as she was paid so much less then male colleagues.
