Mercedes W212 | How To Change Seat Switch

How to change seat switch for Mercedes-Benz E-Class W212 2009 - 2016 models. This is kinda easy procedure but be carful if you have multicontour seat so you not brake any lines when remove the seat cushion.
Also there is a airbag close to the seat switch so take it easy when working at this area.
This procedure is mostly the same for all models such as E220 E250 E350

Had to use that fire extinguisher on a car fire once. Apparently they are one use only when I tried to recharge it at a shop 😔

@@MB212 Yeah got the fire under control quickly with minimum damage 👍. Since then I buy the refillable extinguishers on all my cars.

I didn't know they had an OEM fire extinguisher that fits under the seat in that compartment! I'm going to have to stop watching your videos - theres too many things that I'm buying because I didn't know they existed until I watched your videos.

Yess, I had them all without compartment, with compartment only and this with compartment and fire extinguisher. Indeed 😁

I really want to buy a used 2012 e350 but the once around me have 100k miles, I’m fine paying for maintenance 1-2k a year but what scares me is random things braking that will cost thousands like engine or all the plastic electronics, should I be worried ?

I use the official login to Mercedes EPC (Electronic Part Catalog) had some luck to get login for it! You could also download it, search eBay (Mercedes EPC)

Why my w212 seat switch is in the door not under the seat?

That’s because you have the full electric seats! In this model is only half electric in that case the switch sitting in the seat.
