Thankfully once you remove that hair it's gone for good. Removing all the unwanted hair from your body will likely take dozens of hours if not entire days and it does hurt, but in the end you're hair free for life, so I'd say it's worth it in the end.
As a natural redhead I badly need this and I'm prepared to travel from New Zealand to do it. If you have dark hair and light skin get laser first. You are lucky.
Nope, laser don't remove hair permanently but lessens the time interval a hair takes to grow. I've natural black hair but I'll do this anyway, I think this is worth it.
about a year, that’s what it is with most places because it’s not about how long it takes to get all the hairs in that area, but how long it takes for the hair to regrow and then be zapped again
@@geelol420 "no answer is an easy answer" yet you easily tell them to keep their hair? How would you know what's best for them physically or emotionally?
Hair grows in different stages, which means certain hairs are not visible during treatment (some have fallen out, some might be in the resting phase, some might be a in the preliminary growth stage but not above the skin surface yet etc.). This means that several sessions are needed in order to treat all the hair follicles.

Does this come with any health risks? Is it dangerous. I don't know how true it is but I was once told that pulling hairs out of your face or nose could cause blood clots to form. Maybe that's a myth and I am just very gullible but some reassurance would be nice.
*Sounds like a myth. I had my first treatment yesterday. I'm fine. The experience is different for everyone of course. It was quite painful for me. So I'm thinking maybe as I do more sessions, perhaps I'll get used to the pain. There is some minor swelling, but it goes away. There's definitely no blood clots at all. The woman I saw said they don't happen. Skin discoloration can happen. It didn't happen to me. She did say that for anyone who suffers from acne, they would have to be careful. I don't really suffer from acne. Super rarely I do get one or two pimples that's it. So it really depends on your overall health and skin health history. You'll know much more when you talk to the electrolysis person.* *They do apply a cooling gel afterwards to soothe the skin too. Also, a different needle is used for each person for sanitary reasons of course (meaning the needles are disposable). I felt pain for one second, and you do feel a tiny zing of heat. Then the hair slides right out. Some areas were a little more sensitive than others. She said it does help if your skin is not too oily, and more dry than oily. Because it helps not feel pain much. I think I'll clean my skin next time to remove the oils, and apply numbing cream. My skin thankfully is more on the dry side and I think it's only a tad oily. She told me I could try the cream to reduce the pain more. I was being treated on my neck area. I tried wearing a lidocaine patch there before my appointment, and it helped a little bit. I'll try a different brand of the patch, since the brand I used wasn't too effective (it was a cheapy generic brand). I don't know which one to recommend. Since people are from all over the world on the internet. So a particular brand may or may not be available for someone. So I recommend reading the label, and you can get one that appeals to you. Make sure to get the strips that are a tiny bit thick, and are kind of damp. They're stretchy too! The cheapy one I used just felt like I was using tape on my neck lol 😅🤣🤣🤣! Now that I think about it, the tape peeling off hurt more than the electrolysis itself! Anyway, so there are good higher quality lidocaine patches that work well and they don't hurt taking off! You know what, I think I remember the brand. I think it was IcyHot. It's not "hot" as it sounds, it's just warm. But I know that brand is good! Also, that wasn't the "cheapy" brand I used. The cheap one was called something else. But I do know IcyHot works well! You'll see what's around that works for you.* *Anyway, if and whenever you do go to your appointment, good luck! The price varies from place to place as well. The times I've seen ran from 15 min, 30 min, to one hour sessions.*

Yes. Electrolysis is the only permanent hair removal method that is recognized and approved as such by the FDA (The US Food and Drug Administration). The FDA is an agency of the US government that regulates a broad range of consumer products, services, and drugs in order to ensure not only the efficacy of the product but also the safety of the consumer.

When you post a video about electrolysis you should expect comments by electrologists I am currently a Massachusetts licensed & Registered for the last 42 years and most people are unaware that electrolysis is American invention,. I left you an evaluation of your electrologist because I thought it would be helpful. Electrolysis is a profession that take years to master. What did you do? You removed my comment. I noticed on your website you do not list the status and credentials of your electrologist whom I said has potential. However whoever instructed her was not professionally educated. I left you information and her mistake could be eliminated and you could provide better electrolysis treatments. However the system she uses is falsely labeled the two handed progressive technique is horribly outdated, painful and and I know electrologist in the USA that uses it. By the way with two days instruction breaking her bad habits she could move up the ladder rather than being stuck on the bottom wrung. Thank you!
Jeez that seems tedious. The patience of both the patient and the doctor(?) is insane.
