Brennan's facial expressions changing from the embarrassed "That's how they make new people" to the intense "That's also how they make the Shadow Ones" is absolutely fantastic art.

deep blue ink does never disappoint, do they? the "are you winning, son?" angle is just so perfect. I love my dad, but I find it hard not to think that Brennan would've been an awesome substitute.

The vibes on this one are pristine. The animation is incredible (damn that's a smooth bee) and the storyboarding and imagery is top-notch. That transition into "at the beginning of time" was chefs kiss. I mean wow, talk about an animation that elevates the source audio.

The idea of explaining "chosen one" lore, together with the birds and the bees is a really compelling idea, but it's so full of second hand embarrassment that I would not be able to handle it and I would stop watching whatever it was
DBI you are once again so fucking fast with these!!! also the bee flying between the flowers is adorable!!! this prompt reminded me of another MSN prompt where sam makes brennan come up with lore for a tv show so complicated that it loses the viewer - something i was convinced had already been animated by you, but when i went to look i couldn't find anything. now this animation exists and i couldn't be happier :D
@@DeepBlueInk it's on the last episode of MSN season 1, at the end of the first round (about 7 minutes in). it didnt leave me alone, so i had to look it up myself hehe
now here i was thinking the original bit in the episode was perfect. but no. THIS is perfect. the perfect illustration of the beginning of time....the swapping btwn quaint illustrations of birds and bees and the OMINOUS FOREBODING LORE OF THE DARK ONES ETC. amazing. 15/10

You might see some other kids your age whose bodies are changing as well, and you might start to have some feelings about them, and that's perfectly normal and ok... unless you feel an urge to consume and devour them, which IS an unnatural and bad desire within yourself that you are going to have to confront and overcome
