Yup, I completed ALL of Key's work, VN, Anime, Side contents to date, 2 of the most important messages I found from AIR and Planetarian, majority of Key's audience just don't understand yet.
I agree with you. considering all the songs, be it BGM or OST that are sung in all anime adapted from key visual novels or from key visual novels themselves such as clanad, canon, little buster, angel beats, planettarian and others are so wonderful and when I listen to it, I feel like being in a fantasy world.
