Would Luffy fight Shanks over his Grand Fleet and Nakama being attacked?! I believe that could be the case and Luffy might have to take down another Yonko after Kaido, that being Shanks! Shanks is currently fighting Kid but after that, how will Luffy react once he arrives on Elbaf?1

--- Personally I think that would be a great display for Luffy to show that he has grown up to be a dependable man, pirate, and captain.
You don’t kill a whole pirate crew by happenstance law. Roger was a true monster !!! Bart is fine , I hope ! but luffy v shanks has to happen no matter the circumstances
There are two things to look at here. 1) Why would Shanks do this? It's not in his nature to hurt someone who didn't deserve it and he doesn't care about slights or insults to himself. He's shown that time and again. If he did hurt someone close to Luffy, Luffy would ask why. 2) Luffy doesn't always get involved in others fights, even if they are his nakama. Like he purposefully didn't get involved with Zoro and Mihawk's clash, even though Zoro got horribly injured. I think Luffy knows that if the situation is serious enough that Shanks has decided to step in and actually fight, then Luffy will let the two sides fight.
I also think this whole thing with Barto isn't going to matter at all. I don't think Shanks cares. He was just using a silly excuse to not meet Luffy right now without saying to the audience why he REALLY didn't want to see Luffy for whatever reason. I've thought that since he said it.

Luffy says back in Punk Hazard that he plans on beating all 4 emperors, shanks included. He just didn't want to fight Shanks first. This was when Law proposed the alliance to take down Kaido

Blackbeard never fights with stronger people when they're in their full strength. He may try to attack Elbaf after Kid and Shanks' battle. Also I don't think he is planning to fight with Garp. If he has some relationship with Xebec then he is fully aware of Garp's strength, maybe he is planning to lure Garp out of Navy HQ. Kizaru is on his way to Egghead, Greenbull just captured Weevil, he won't be back anytime soon, Fujitora is probably chasing after Buggy and Mihawk, only person remaining is Akainu, I am sure he can manage to lure Akainu too. Perfect time for Katarina Devon and Shiryu to sneak in Navy HQ or Mary Jois.

My theory: Bartolomeo learns about Shanks being the role model for Luffy, then he apologizes in the weirdest possible way and accepts defeat. On the other side, Blackbeard and Law's fight resulted in a draw then they formed a temporary alliance and they are on their way to get the final red ponoglyph from Elbaf. Eventually Shanks has to fight 3 pirate crews at the same time so he loses and dies. But Blackbeard betrays Law and set sail for Lodestar island, this triggers Luffy to fight with Blackbeard

The thing about Luffy being fleet commander is that as far he’s concerned, he’s not. He wants nothing to do with the fleet, and he’s cool with it just because they’re friends. But I’m pretty sure that applies as long as they stay out of his way, different story if they start becoming a problem
another reason i think they will do a davy back fight is that they specifically say you can take objects and not just crew members. that's the most perfect way to take shanks's poneglyphs.

I think shanks asking the giants to join him may backfire; Kid takes control of their giant shields/swords etc. who knows but creativity and other variables can overpower strength especially in one piece, I’m excited to see how this plays out!

1) joyboy lived 800 years ago and Orcs are the extinct creatures in one piece itself we can hear that in marinford war and they lived 800 years ago.

I think when luffy was a kid he thought he was just going to run into shanks when he became a great pirate and just hand the hat back but now as an adult I think he for sure he wants to beat shanks to give the hat back what better way to show how much of a great pirate he’d become
I think the pirate shanks was talking to the gorosei was Luffy, and I think L would definitely put his nakama and friend first and go against shanks if he had to choose, as Luffy does idolise him but he idolised a different shanks, a shanks who stood up for him friends when the going got tough, I think shanks will see this in Luffy and then acknowledge him as a great pirate

what i think is gonna happen is the straw hat fleet will arive during egg head and someone will prolly relay iformation from a captain in the fleet to luffy and somethin will be said about barto being locked up by shanks on elbaf and the combination of barto and shanks will convince liffy to set off the elbaf next, but i doubt luffy will take the conflict between barto and shanks seriously
Lol. That One Piece Odyssey mention. The games/movies have always had wack scaling with the big threats. I think the only time I can remember where it made sense was....One Piece Unlimited World Red? Because the main antagonist was meant to be a rival of Roger (in the same way that Shiki was......and we all saw how that went), but in the game Patrick Redfield basically just stomped them. Which actually surprised me, given how far outside the norm it was.
At the end he intentionally nerfs himself, stops using his DF powers to restore his youth and amp him up, let's the whole crew (mind you, I think this game came out before Dressrosa; at least before Zou/WCI, so that's how strong the characters are) hit him with some combo attack.....and is still perfectly fine, and then casually leaves of his own accord. Lmao. Because the hell ere they going to do at that point to a guy who should still at least be able to FIGHT a Yonko or an Admiral in his old age?
All the other games are just kinda crazy when it comes to that stuff. Iirc, didn't they also have non-Haki users fighting Smoker in Odyssey, and Kizaru up against a couple of nerfed SH's (I think Zoro and Sanji, it I can't remember)?

Probably in the final huge fight. The full deployment of the fleet might require Luffy contacting all the leaders of the fleet to get them to prepare for a battle at X Island on Y date.

Whitebeard's appearance was based on Benkei and died the same way as Benkei. Maybe Shanks' would somehow die same way as Tyr.
I believe that the final war is going to be something of a parallel to Ragnarok considering that battle consisted of the Gods the demons and the Giants I think if you consider all the parallels but translated into the world of One Piece all the pieces are there Shanks being affiliated with a Giants will probably move around the seas in full-force considering he's actually trying to go for the one piece, and since we have got information in the past in regards to the Giants that they are the most powerful army in the world we can assume that the moment the Giants start to move and interfere in worldly affairs that it will send absolute shockwaves around the globe like we've never seen before, but then on the other hand you have the celestial dragons and the five Elder Stars basically the gods of this world and one of the five Elder stars has already made a move which we've never seen before, but then also we have several pirate Crews who's Captain hold the D in their name which I believe to be part of some sort of deviant plan or from a Celestial dragons perspective their demons but of course The Twist here is I think we're going to see the emergence of the Devil Himself Monkey D dragon, only in this case I believe that we're going to see a major battle for the last location of the road poneglyph and ultimately the one piece will be found but the island probably will be destroyed either way I don't think this is going to end as well as it seems and this global war will see various dream matchups happen all at once will get to see dragon fight for the first time and I am assuming we will definitely see shakes at full power and we will also finally see him meet Luffy at some point I also think we will get to see the identity of emu in the process we're finally going to see more of Blackbeard and just exactly how fiercely truly is in fact I believe that considering his character was based on the real one I'm not mistaken the real-life Blackbeard was one of the most feared Pirates ever in human history but a lot of his life was shrouded in mystery hints how we don't know a whole lot about Blackbeard despite him becoming more prominent in the world outside of the fact that he was once a part of whitebeard's crew I do believe that ultimately Blackberry will become the modern-day rox and it will ultimately come down to either Luffy and Coby taking him down or Luffy and Shanks or something completely different either way considering the involvement of the Giants the balance of power is about to be grown into other chaos but I also believe that during this fight we are all to mately you going to find out about the true history so we may even see a battle of the media's in the world of One Piece Morgan's is going to have his hands full as well and lastly I think we could also expect a lot of betrayals as well as unlikely alliances be formed

Luffy and shanks are enemies they said it, before luffy set out to sea. Not only that Luffy's an honorary pirate he will honor the pack. The question remains how will they fight? Will it be that infamous David backfight? Or will it be more dramatic than that?
