I have a 2.0 Seltos AWD and I often drive from Moscow to Istanbul. I traveled a lot before Seltos too by different cars. But I am really surprised by the fuel consumption. With a full tank of 50 liters together with 4 people in the cabin, I drive 900 km at a speed of 100/120 km / h. On the highway, the trip computer shows the fuel consumption of 5.5 liters if keep speed around 90km
Its 11 months owning a Seltos EX for me. Great in the snow...like, really deep snow. The AWD handles mud/snow/dirt roads far better than expected. City driving its great on gas. Highway driving is ok, but noisy. The interior picks up a lot of road noise....not a deal breaker. After 11 months, im happy w/ it!
@@lokiragnarok1881 Oh ya, The Seltos EX is still my daily driver and no issues. Im very happy with it. The Kia Service is quite good where I live. Could use a bit more room for long drives, packed 4 of us for a weekend trip, after shopping space was tight in the trunk but we managed. otherwise I drive solo or w/ a single passenger most of the time...loads of room for 2 people!
@SpectrumInsights thank you so much for the response I really appreciate it was on the fence about the 2022 in about to buy nice to hear a good review. I'm literally just using it for solo driving
I'm mad because the u.s. version isn't as loaded as the Canadian version. No heated back seats. No tilting mirror in reverse. No heated steering wheel. The front seats are heated but not ventilated. There is also no seat memory. I also had a vehicle with a garage door opener, and now it doesn't have it. This car is great though. I'm still happy with the features it has so far - I have the us seltos sx
Dan, Space efficiency is a lesson being 'unlearned' by far too many car companies. Among others, I hope Toyota is taking notes 10:19 on the fundamental need to leave space for legs as well as heads in the front and back row of any 4 door, family vehicle. In summary, boxy succeeds and swoopy fails.
Nice footwear, Dan! I love it. Seltos certainly attracts less attention than your footwear, but maybe that's just what some people want. Subdued and low profile.
Hahaha! Thanks, David, and well put! I certainly agree that more shoppers in this segment are interested in a simple ownership experience than an exciting one, and the Seltos is pretty close to perfect in that regard! Cheers!
@@darshiljadav5471 oh interesting, I ordered mine on March 3rd this year as well. But no update on its delivery. I was promised April or May, but now they say June/July
In Canada, the base LX trim comes in the choice of front- or all-wheel drive. If you're looking for more features in a front-wheel drive package that's similar in shape and size, there's always the Soul!

I just picked mine up today!!!!🥳🤗
When did you order?
I bought a 2022 SX turbo in lunar orange & I love it so far!
As the owner of this exact trim, this is the best sub-compact suv for the money. Homerun KIA👌
Came for the review…stayed for the classic skate footwear!
What is your take on the kia/Hyundai engine fire problem. ??? Is it safe To buy a 2022 or 2023 kia?
I could be wrong, but I don’t think either Seltos engine - the 2.0L or 1.6L - are part of that recall.
This engine is unaffected by that recall. Also, 2022 and onward Kias are fine.
we have had a 1.6 turbo cerato, and now a 1.6 seltos - never heard of fires on the engines and no recalls on anything in either vehicle.

I’m gonna get this car delver on June 4th. Waiting eagerly
Just out of curiosity, when did you place the order?

Those “court jester” shoes 😂 lol
I hope they make the Seltos in FWD option too.

It does in the us
It brings good value proposition
