Unfortunately the “Patriot Way” was really the “Tom Brady Way” which left when he went to Tampa. That’s why no coach from the Belichick tree ever succeeded without Tom Brady, including Belichick himself. Mayo is another Belichick disciple whose experience is more on Defense. The Patriots problems were never defensive. I hope Mayo succeeds, but they honestly would have been better off with someone from another coaching tree with a history of developing QB talent. This seems no different than hiring Matt Patricia or Brian Flores.

Intriguing. As for my favorite team - I'm still not completely past the Russell Wilson's ( Cooking ) of the Seahawks winning SB XLIX and getting back to back sb wins and maybe starting a new dynasty in the NFL. Hopefully the HAWKS can get back to their winning ways soon :).
