I just watched your video looking good and i see you got a piece of 3" stock mine is cold rolled but yours is better metal from hydraulic cylinder it looks like your arms look like 1 1/2 x 1/2 should be strong enough I was thinking that the 3" round for hammer at app. 30 or 35 # would be heavy enough plus, your bearing and arms should be pushing about 40 # or so, thanks for the reply's im curious if you use your round for hammer how the attachment is going to be ,im thinking on that ,brass might make a good bushing with grease fittings thanks again have a nice week end Duey
Duane Hoover I’m thinking about hardening and tampering all the arms not sure yet using grade 8 bolts. The bushing thing is a good idea I know a lot of people do it I also know some don’t. Still not sure what I’m gonna do about dies. I am thinking about just using the hammer and making different does for the Anvile. At this point it is starting to feel like an experiment

Nunca foi adaptado pra riscar nada, parquímetros são instrumentos de medição de precisão, acho que quem pensa assim nunca deveria usar um.
Excellent vid but I would have forge welded it together 💪
Can we see your video on how you would have done it?

You use at first a MAG/ MIG machine and then stick welding? But Why?
Just to demonstrate that you can do it in various ways
@@AMakersJourney oh okay .
I make a curse for MAG welding and I want first gain self-confidence and experience and then go further. 🙂
Practice truly makes perfect. I’m not real good at tig welding so I practice all the time. Good luck
@@AMakersJourney thank you.
