    The old Swedish torch. Works great on most twig stoves for longer burn times. I need one of these and a Big Bad stove.

    I have one happy stove, which used for cooking delicious potato soup in outdoor environment. Very nice , I am very happy with that.

    Looking at that woodnBeing cut by a knife made me extremely jealous knowing that whenever I have to split wood for my heater I have to split Ironbark hardwood...

    How long ford it take to cool down if you have a small fire for boiling water for a cup of coffee?

      Depends on the weather, but generally it shouldn't take more than five minutes as the steel is very thin. Beware of embers though, the bottom plate may be hot for much longer than the rest of the stove.

      Depends on the weather and temperature, anything from two to ten minutes.

      @@mailill Note that this is after all fire and embers have burnt and died out. Hot embers and coals will keep the stove, especially the bottom, hot until they completely burn out.
