@@thatbroad5848 Without a doubt 2020 was a shit show, but election violence had been ratcheting up before that. I remember the 2008 because "community activists" and SEIU union chapters started rousting and fighting t-shirt and button vendors at Republican rallies. Back then corporate news didn't own the factcheckers and YT/FB.
She probably didn't mention it because:
1. She forgot
2. Batons are not equivalent to long guns
3. She's bias

The "men parading with long guns" comment might have been that from her limo on the way in she saw a man in a field with a rifle. Much like when she talks about all the "death threats" she and her family have had but mysteriously they are not turned over to the FBI to investigate? It's part of the playbook now. "phobic", "racist", "extremist", "far right", "white nationalist" joins in nicely with "death threats".
It's NOT that those things don't exist and don't happen, it's that it's THE playbook even if they are not true.

No matter how they spin it there's no reason why the roofs shouldn't have been secured. Even a child would know to watch every roof in that area.

A student has come forward to say that the shooter was Very Political and told him that since the student was Hispanic and supported Trump that the student was stupid. He was NOT apolitical (though he did hate All Politicians) so he was truly bi-partisan in his hate..

No offense to these two but I tuned into Reason because they didn't follow the prescribed formula of everyone else. This kind of forced opposing view discussion is so formulaic. Again no offense to these two.
The "scope" was a red dot meant for engagements at < 50 yards, ideally. The dot would have completely, or nearly completely, covered Trump's head at that distance. This is why standard training is to aim for "center mass" or the largest part of the target, the torso in this case. This shooter was unsuccessful for many reasons, not least of which was the use of video game logic when aiming. There are several great videos that go in depth on this, I recommend the one from Brandon Herrera.
So we aren't going to talk about how Reid ignored the anthem in the background? It's not even about worship. Just sit quietly until the audience is finished, that's all.

It's interesting on how so many of these UA-cam channels are cross pollinating. Robbie is on Reason and the Hill, Emily is on Breaking Points and Unherd, Ryan is regularly on Breaking Points but gives his origin on a never heard of before site. And Crystal Ball, Ryan, Emily and Saagar all left the Hill. It sort of reminds me of tobacco companies having multiple brands to try to suck up the marketplace.

there was no ladder for the cop that went to the roof - he was hanging by his hands. Local police deny that they were responsible for that building. Its nuts that civilians and local cops saw the guy before the secret service. The S/S has no valid explanation for why they did not secure or at least have eyes on that building and environs.
