I have just found this site and I am so excited! I danced for years, but work, injury and weight gain all got in the way! Now 62, I want ballet and Pilates to be my road back to fitness. There are things my joints will no longer allow, but I hope, with your program, to improve them. Thank you so much!
Dear Dance lovers, finally our website is ready to be presented. Its a educational website on how to learn ballet. Please take a look any comments welcome. Andrew www.onlineballetclass.com/
the link is not working, is there an alternative, My niece is not yet two,but she takes instructions very well, would very much like to at least expose her to your online class
Yes, if you work correctly, for sure. We have an ballet academy www.onlineballetclass.com We have many very good education programs for this kind of work. Which will get you to your dream quicker. Maestro Greenwood
+merlin hernandez I would say no. If you are looking to do pointe, it is crucial you have an instructor to help you, because pointe can be very dangerous if you are not doing it right.
Maestro Greenwood, I want to thank you for your advice concerning the arabesque but it wasn't exactly what I really wanted. It was about turn out. The height of the working isn,the problem but the turn out in cases when this is poor.I,ve seen dancers, just for the sake of pleasing their eye overturning the hips towards the mirror and thus obtaining a false turn out. My question is how much can one,, steal,, in this case, in order to get a theatrically presentable arabesque?
I really like this dancer Yail, she is beautiful and looks very focused and aligned, her rond de jambes are excellent. I like the new dancer Jessie too
In another clip you say the arm should open at the same time as/together with the straightening of the legs at the end. Here the student brings her arm to first while straightening, and then opens the arrn up to second after the legs are already straight. Which is correct?
Your teaching is wonderful! :) However...make sure your dancer has focus. If she is looking down then she loses presence and alignment. Remember the answers of how to do it right are not written on the floor.
This is great! Although can you put the videos in a sequence of teachings? In that way, it would be more effective for the learner. Thanks.

Wonderful commentary, clearly explained, beautifully executed by a talented dance student. I can't wait to watch more classes. :)
If I do these exercises on youtube 3 times a wee,k for 3 years, am I considered ''ready'' for pointe work? Because I cannot afford dance classes.
