- Snuck in some short hikes during our family summer vacation around the Snowbird Ski Area outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. I only hiked a few miles in total, but I was able to get some pretty pictures that I share in the video.
I am thinking of adding videos that are photography focused, what do you think? Leave a comment below and let me know 🙂

Very nice!!! Utah is one our favorite places!! Beautiful footage and pics!!!
Thank you :) I want to go back and do it right one of these days with a proper backpacking trek!
Lovely & Amazing
Thank you!
Good call on not going into the cave. You might have found tom Hanks' character in Cast Away.... or a bear. Nice video and pictures. Very nice job.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. It was a really nice area to explore, even if it was just for a short time.
Beautiful video
Thank you !
Beautiful! I need to check out Utah!
I wish I had more time to do it justice, but even this quick little hike was good for the soul :)
I'm From SriLanka
Very cool, it’s amazing how the internet can bring people together across the globe!
Really really nice. It's beautiful up there and I think you made the best of it with the photos. Your camera skills are always improving ✌
Thank you :) It has been a lot of fun learning the photography angle, but I’m far from where I would like to
be. There are some amazing and inspiring photographers out there.
Absolutely beautiful Chuco! Enjoy the family time and thank you for sharing.
Thank you! It was a nice family trip, and it was good to get some mountain air up there; even if it was only for a short time.
Yay, very nice to watch😊🙏❤️
Thank you :). It’s a little different than my last videos, I’m still figuring out how to do videos with a photography angle.
Some eye popping views for sure.
Enjoy your vacation with the fam!
Thank you! We came back a few weeks ago, it was a good vacation :)
Wish I got in more miles of hiking, but happy I got to explore the mountains even if it was just a little bit.
Wow! I like your hiking so beautiful place and nice shot. Have a nice day my friend.
Thank you and thanks for watching! I always wonder if people enjoy the content as much as I enjoy making it. I wish I had more time out there in Utah, the outdoor setting too beautiful to enjoy properly in a couple of short hikes.
The View is something isn't it. love Utah, Thanks for sharing. I'll be heading to Utah in October for a solo trip, can't wait
Nice! Where in Utah are you going? I need to make a proper hiking trip out there. Sneaking in a few miles here and there was not enough to do it justice.
Utah is beautiful , so much to explore there 👍👍
Soooo true! We also spent a night in Moab, but I need to go back and spend several nights hiking out there to really feel like I got to see an area. Thanks for watching!
Looks awesome! I thought the photos were great.
Thank you dude! I like them too but I may be biased haha.
Really cool photos. Look like a nice hike.
Thank you! It was a pretty chill hike. Low mileage, cool temperatures, and good views. I’ll take it :)
@@ChucoHiker those cool temperatures are quite nice. I'm so ready for fall myself.
@@hikingwithjackieboy lol! I couldn’t tell from your Instagram posts :)
@@ChucoHiker those are from last fall. 😊😊
We will be out at the Marfa Lights Festival over Labor Day weekend
DAYUM thats pretty! lookin slim and trim man.
Thank you! The scenery was non-stop up there. As far as the weight goes, I’ve put on almost all the weight I lost training for that ultramarathon last year. Just means I gotta hike more!
@@ChucoHiker mayeb you’ve put on muscle instead of fat bc you still look lean. How was the ultramarathon?!
@@novicehiker6897 Ha! It’s all camera angles 😜
The ultra was fun! It was my first one at 36 miles and 7000’ of elevation change. I wasn’t fast, but I finished and that was the goal. I wanted to do a 50 miler this year, but I have been fighting a horrible combination of injury and laziness lol…..mostly laziness.
Do you do Ultras? You would be good at them, you do some big miles and elevations on your hikes.
@@ChucoHiker haha the biggest hike I’ve done wasn’t even 20 miles. I can’t even fathom 36 miles. I never run, just uphill walks
@@novicehiker6897 That’s my strategy. I jog the flats and downs, walk the ups haha!
