You managed to get through the whole review without a mention of one manger fact that should always be included in any review. How far you can travel on a tank of fuel.
Agree. It's not an hybrid. It's just an enhanced Start&stop system. A very good one without any vibrations. You can't feel any extra power coming from the battery and consumptions are very disappointing if you drive normally. Regarding the comfort I don't find it bad. It's perfect for the city. That's sure that the for the same amount of money you can easily find a better car but you can't find a car with such a charm.
We had 2x Fiat 500's as rental cars on Sardinia in 2022 + start of 2023 in Portugal. On Sardinia we had the regular non hybrid version and in Portugal the 500e. The last one not a real pleasant car to drive in my opinion. Maybe in cities itself or more flat countries als the Netherlands where I'm from but we didn't find it pleasant to drive. The clutch smells burned really really quick if you have some short stop/up-hill/stops etc. Also warning lights with the stop/start system. The regular petrol 500 drives more smooth. Rental car companies better invest in the new 500 full EV besides petrol 500's.

Ha, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for informative review
What mild hybrid do you recommend (ie of the smaller, non-plug in EVs which is better than the FIAT)?
The Honda Jazz e:HEV would our pick. Glad you liked the review!
Good review! Any plans to review the Ford mild hybrid engines, like in the Puma or Fiesta?
Thanks! Hopefully sometime in 2021 :)
I am 5'0 and I think these cars are more aimed for my height than yours...so obviously you'd have different views on the size. :)
Haha indeed!

Thanks for sharing! We love the 500e, but not the hybrid as per the review.
I would laugh my head off if someone who is 6ft 5 inches bought this car😂
Haha, true
Very negative review despite the car is good
That's ultimately our opinion!
@@Antares2F you're welcome to your own opinion; we're just basing it off other vehicles we've reviewed - be it ICE, PHEV or BEV.
nice tiny manual car just forget its hybrid
In some respects, yes.
@@TotallyEV do make a video on petrol to electric conversion kits available if you have time
@@fidelcatsro6948 don't think we will, but will consider it!
