Hoping Flex comes out with a new QRP model for SmartSDR to replace the 1500. Talking about HexBeam, I'm hoping for the Buddihex to start selling soon. Sept has passed already.

How loud is the fan noise from the amplifier when in operation? I saw a video of the KPA-1500, and it was very noisy when the fans were running at high speed, so noisy that you’d probably want to locate the amplifier away from the ham shack room.
Good question. The fan on my KPA500 isn't loud at all though

One antenna per rig with distance helps reduce issues like this.
The live countdown needs MAIN ENGINE START at 8 seconds like the Saturn V.

Do you still like your 6400 and do you wish you would of spurged for the 6600? Just curious you haven't said much about your flex.
Love my 6400 but yes, wish I would have got the 6600. At the time, I couldn't afford it
Seems George Jetson proof. 3 ports good. Rigs run grom 6 to 180m. Need multi antennae.

Would you please put the microphone on a stick or wand? You'll probably find one in a dumpster or trash can. I prefer to wrap some foam-like material around the end, so you don't drop it.
Lepel mics work better
As a brand new Flex owner in 2022, there have been several major hiccups that have dampened my excitement for Flex. This video somewhat blunts my disappointment and concerns of the future as a Flex owner. I hope to one day express my greater satisfaction of better times. Great hardware, disappointing company in 2022.
