As a proud Brummie of 66 years I have seen Birmingham rise from the ashes of a bombed out crumbling City after the second world war and through the 60's to right up today a when I look at my fantastic, modern, friendly and culturally divers City, I am totally over whelmed with joy and pride how far Birmingham has progressed, and I am totally proud of my City and love it to pieces and are totally amazed when people with a negative attitude of Birmingham watch a brilliant video like this of my City and suddenly realise how nice and fantastic Birmingham realy is.
I hear you man🙌 And Birmingham is constantly progressing, I can only imagine in 30 years time what it will be like, I'll have to make another video showing it's development then!

Greetings from the UK man! I've never actually visited Birmingham Alabama but would love to (when circumstances allow). This was actually an upscale from 4K shot on the Mavic 2, but fingers crossed there could be 8K in the Mavic 3? Who knows?
I am not sure whether you know this, but Birmingham Alabama was named after my home City, Birmingham UK.
Ahh miss this city so much, what I wouldn't give to come back, good memories. Love the cinematography, thanks for the trip down memory lane.

@@Sparkycjones No restrictions whatsoever man, apart from the no fly zone near the airport! I wanted to make a London Aerial Video, but drones are banned in the city centre, so Birmingham was my next choice. I would definitely recommend getting a drone up there, the skyline is insane.

Amazing, I could almost see my block.of flats in West Bromwich (Kenrick house) where I saw a guy fly a drone from one block to another, the guy took the little baggie off the landing skid thing, and it flew back!
