Ah Lizzy , I really don’t think you need to apologize! Yeah it’s your job, but there’s a load of stuff behind the scenes. It’s a very peculiar thing really to film yourself in your own home, with your face in a camera - no other job really expects you to do that. Even actors or models have a team and a script and a character to play. It’s so intimate what you do that if you’re feeling shit , I couldn’t imagine anyone excepting you to film yourself feeling shit. It’s a hard push for me to switch my camera on in zoom meetings. I work in marketing & content creation and that’s a full time job in itself without the vlogging aspect. I think you should go easy on yourself! It’s your life, your house and your face and body and if you don’t want to film it you shouldn’t have to apologize. I hope u cut yourself some slack. Mind yourself love.

Sending you some love Lizzy, I have been following you for years and never comment but I feel like I just want you to know that you being so real and vulnerable for such a big audience is a great ask but I am truly grateful to you for it. I am sure the cats will be friends! When we got our second cat, both are male by the way,the oldest was not very pleased ,they were not friends at all, and the smaller got some serious beating. Just a few days later they started to be more curious and not angry and little by little they started to get along, and now they are together all the time. The oldest cat pets the smaller one,they cuddle up and sleep in the same place,they play together and clearly prefer each other over us humans. They really are best friends.
We want you to know that we don't have any expectations, we love it when we see anything from you and understand when we don't. Please don't worry about us and just take care of yourself. We will always be here for you when you are ready. xo
Yessss, that little pat from the big cat was fineeee, I think they're going to be fine. I introduced the garden cat (newly adopted) to my kitten and they are now best friends it's amazing. Just go slow but often. Xxxx
Lizzie I love your authentic content. I’m your mum’s age and whilst i’m not saying it’s easy for older people (more health concerns for a start) but i do think the social isolation and lack of things going on outside the home is super tough when you’re younger.

I love your channel for the realness you portray and I genuinely find comfort in it being relatable. The fact of the matter is, the majority of us are not feeling the brightest or doing anything particularly exciting at this moment in time, but being able to see that reliability brings comfort. Hi lizzy! Thank you for sharing that you had a shitty week! You have no idea how much it helps seeing someone who is going through something similar at what im going through! I have a suggestion for the vlog: it would be nice to see when you go to the super market, the stuff you pick out ecc ecc! I know it seems boring but it is actually very interesting to see foreign supermarkets and what you pick out!
Lizzy, how you feel is so relatable and normal, but I just want to put it out there that there is no shame, nothing to lose, and everything to gain through prescription support of your mental health. There should be no stigma, as these medications are extremely common and truly relieve suffering. They produce new neural pathways, built resilience, and provide support for as long as needed. Just a thought. Might not be the right choice for you! You are doing amazing at coping with this terrible time, and sharing ways for us to follow in your footsteps, not to mention giving us joy and comfort!! Thank you Lizzy!

Fabulous book choices Lizzy! The Bell Jar and Catcher are probably my favourite books of all time. I didn't find them depressing. I found them relatable in many ways, and I consider myself a pretty happy, relaxed person. They're just great insights into a psyche. x

Loved your music choice in this one! I didn’t care for “The Catcher in the Rye” when I read it which was years ago. I felt like I was reading about someone’s life with no motivation, no direction and no drive. I’m not sure that does anything for us.
I think a video of you like talking through some old wardrobe videos/testing basics or something. Just reusing old content. I think this would be a cool look back!
Lizzy, your vlogs and content is such a source of comfort - not in the sense that you should feel pressure to keep up with entertaining your viewers through this weird time but purely because whatever you put out is relatable and warm, whether that's current content or going back over old videos etc. Sometimes I take a break from watching my favourite UK youtubers because especially at the moment (being stuck in Australia with no possible travel dates on the horizon) it can make my homesickness so much more intense but at other times, like this week, it absolutely lifts the clouds of heaviness. Be extra gentle with yourself, much love xx

I hope you are feeling better and are having a slightly brighter week, but just know that you should always take time for yourself if you need to. You should be so proud of everything you have accomplished this year - while you may feel uninspired, the way you have captured your day to day life in the midst of such a difficult year has certainly inspired me! It is also comforting to know that someone else is experiencing the same emotions as me. I think what makes your content so compelling is that you never glamourize things or shy away from the more difficult moments.
On another note, I am currently reading M Train by Patti Smith and have found myself thinking you'd really enjoy it! She writes about her life and art and shifts back and forth between describing her current life in New York City and past travels and experiences. It feels especially relevant right now because she reflects on isolation and finding inspiration in the mundanity of the everyday.

In addition to all of the stuff that it's fine to not be ok, I think it's also important to recognise that if you were in a 'normal' job and had to take a week of sick leave you wouldn't think twice (and that sick leave is legislated forin the UK - literally a legal right!). I know that feels more difficult when you're self-employed BUT: we all need time-off! Dont beat yourself up! x

ahh I used to have the adidas sambas! but they were SO SQUEAKY walking in hallways at school and my foot slipped out the back a lot :( so sad bcuz the silhouette is A1 🥰 my older cat still occasionally bops my newer cat to assert her dominance and show shes the alpha but its never with her claws out and she doesnt go out of her way to attack him, more just setting boundaries! I’d suggest giving them both treats side by side so they start to associate each other with something positive! hope this helps 💕

I don't have any of their pieces yet, but I love Mejuri already. So many jewellery brands are hyped at the moment and most of them only offer gold-plated silver but are still quite pricey. I wear only a tiny bit of jewellery, but the same every day, so it has to be lasting, which plated silver just isn't.
Catcher in the Rye was one of my favourite books as a teen but haven't read it since. Would be interested to see whether it holds up from a reader in her 20s. P.S it's considered a modern classic
I was reading it last year and stopped mid way because I was really not enjoying it, but I hate not persevering. Think I'll give it another go.

You will not convince me otherwise, Frank the cat has somehow found its way to me on the Internet XD So that was the story, hope it made you smile :-)

Some things that could help with making cats more friendly: catnip spray on both, giving treats when they are nice with each other. The things is to create positive association when they are together, even if Frank doesn't live there. Good luck! (Not a vet, just a cat owner that has been through this a few times)

I wash all my wool socks on a short cool cycle in a small laundry bag and they’ve always washed fine. I hope this helps!

Hey Lizzie, My cat is very anti social and is like frank.... he tends to be less around kittens and is like that for the first couple meetings then once he relaxes, takes on a grandpa vibe to the kitten. PS. Dont apologise, lots of youtubers have stopped doing content or have changed their content to home improvements (because of lack of Content) everyone is just doing what they can.

Well, I buy new books because I want to support writers, translators, publishers, etc. I want them to have the conditions to create, to be able to invest in new projects.
