For those wondering, This is the Demo & Animatic from May 8th! The song was developed in Logic X Pro And The Animatic was made in Toon Squid on iPad! I am the only voice in the demo and its hilarious. This animatic outlines pretty much most of what we wanted to do, with changes happening either because of time or because we thought of something better. Like the second verse being pretty different from the final!

To be honest, I prefer this version of Amanda's and Wooly's rooting discussion, Amanda looks more preocupied with something dying near her and suspicious of Wooly trying to calm her than in the final version, I love it

2:23 I like this somewhat better than the final product, because in the scene we see what Amanda truly is a scared kid and the way she sounds makes her seem less smug and more suspicious and nervous

it has the same Intrustmental, its just at 2:34 the intrusmental breaks apart. and does not sync anymore. (its because it does not glitch in the screen)
@forrest6960 it actually has some differences in other parts of the instrumental, some drums are louder, some instruments are different, and the guitar is different.

2:23 I actually prefer this over what is used in the Final Cut! I always felt like it didn’t flow well with the previous scene there but this works much better!
In the Final Cut Amanda just teleports out of woolys hands, because Amanda is in a completely different spot while wooly still has his hands out.

Idk I prefer the original. It matches up with the actual scene in the game where they are talking over each other. In the game, where she specifically askes if something was rotting and Wolly was trying to shut her up, she wasn’t looking scared or anything like that like this demo shows. She was actually smiling at us and Wooly was the only one getting annoyed. The Final Cut accurately portrays that scene better

Is it wrong that I prefer the lyrics and visuals of at 2:23 to the finished video?
I really like how Amanda is portrayed here, she acts like an actual kid. And Wooly is so stiff and to the point in his delivery, really amps up the feeling of Wooly not being as innocent as he initially appears.

i dont know if im the only one but the "take a break and breathe" at 2:14 to 2:16 is very smooth and i feel more on beat with the instrumental
also, i feel this part being a tiny bit better then the original, but both are very good! 1:30 - 2:05

@@aprilcollins3448 Oh definitely! Although Jake sounds hilarious and surprisingly devoted as Amanda in the demo, it was just a demo. I'm sure he was trying to get the lyrics heard instead of just on paper so the the one who'll actually sing as Amanda (Toasty), would have an easier way of knowing how the final should sound. I was mostly talking about the lyrics and references they added in the final rather than voices, so don't worry about your comment! :]
