This song absolutely tears my heart to pieces. I grew up on a farm, thought it would always be my "home". I was also an athlete and loved riding dirt bikes, I had a hundred acres to do it on. Then in '96 my dad died and the realization that this would no longer be my forever home hit me in the face like a softball bat. The first year was the worst, but it's been 19 years now, and I miss my folks, especially my dad, and yes I miss that farm so much. It truly was my playground. I can never get through this song without a flood of tears.
This song proved that there is innocence lost in everyone. Just makes me teary-eyed each time I hear it. Only Madonna can sing this. No one ever tried because this is her masterpiece.

This song takes me back to simpler carefree days, my childhood, which was so innocent and I believed in imagination and wishes! Both my parents have passed away and I no longer live in my childhood home, but I live up the road from it and walk by everyday and it brings me back to my childhood and all the fond memories I had growing up with 2 wonderful loving parents! I wouldn't trade my childhood for anything, if anything I wish I could go back in time!
