Beautiful Diamond King in the background. I love the Kelloggs lenticular cards. You should show off your binder at some point. Good luck at the National and the Rose Rookie!
I have had a couple people comment about the Diamond King card. I should show off my Rose binder. It has probably been 2-3 years since I previously showed it off. I will have a good time looking for the rookie card. Thanks for watching Shawn.
Completely understand, can’t collect everyone. Who did you collect when you were a kid, Mike Schmidt? Looking forward to hanging out with you at the National.
Hi Ken, nice Rose additions. The colors on the Classic go nice with the red uniform. Like many, I still have the 89 Rose and Bench SLUs where the SLU card you have came from. Good luck on your search for the right Rose rookie. It is the only one I need for his Topps run too. I will likely never own it. Cedar Point sounds like fun. I am going there this summer for my youngest daughter’s softball tournament. Have a great week.
Cool that you still have some original Starting Lineups. I was never into them as they didn’t look too much like the players. The Rose rookies is a pricey card and I’m having to save up several months of card budget to get one that I like. With that said, there haven’t been too many other cards that have been drawing my interest recently. Thanks for watching Terry, have a great week.
Some really nice Pete Rose pickups, Ken! Your video is great and informative. I watched the 1970 AS game when Rose leveled Ray Fosse. Saw him on TV break Cobb's record against the Padres (I lived in SD at the time). Pete never could figure his hair out. Prototype mophead. Hope to meet you at the National. Hope you find the '63 RC in Cleveland!
Rob, I really appreciate your kind words. Awesome that you saw a lot more of Rose play than I did. I remember watching him break Cobbs record on TV. Pretty sure the network knew he was going to do it, so they put it on TV. I would count down the hits each day reading the box score in the morning paper. Looking forward to meeting you at the National as well. Thanks for watching Rob.
Love the Starting Lineup Baseball Great card, very cool. I nearly picked up that book when I was in DC but ultimately decided to wait since I’ve already got a few baseball books backlogged here. Enjoyed seeing this nice run of Charlie Hustle cards, Ken! 👊
I just borrowed the book from the local library. I rarely buy books. Great read though. The image on the Starting Lineup card is awesome and show cases Pete’s hustle. Thanks for watching Shane, have a great week my friend.
Charlie Hustle super man diving to 3rd is one of my favorite clips of all time. Nice pickups ! I’ll have to check that book out. Fun stuff Ken. Hopefully see you at the National!
The book is really well written and a fast read. I recommend it. That image of Pete with the head fist slide is iconic and anyone who does it now is said to slide like him. Thanks for watching and would be great to meet you at the National.
Great Rose cards. Like that Yoo-hoo card. That book looks interesting. I read “A Prison Without Bars” years ago. Very interesting story about his life and gambling. Hope all is well. Talk with you soon.
I like the Yoo-Hoo card too! One of my favorites that is not licensed. This book was a lot about his gambling as well. I might have to read that one too. I think Pete was part author for that book, right. All is well, I’m sure we’ll chat soon and thanks for watching Greg.
Hey Ken! Nice Rose additions. I’m a huge fan of the Starting Lineup cards. I think they’re fun. Good luck with the Rose rookie at the National. I prefer to buy bigger cards at shows for the same reason with tax and shipping. Hope you find a few to your liking to choose from!
There were many Rose cards that I had not seen until the invention of eBay! 🤣 I’m hoping to find that good deal for a Rose rookie at the National. I hope the prices are competitive. Thanks for watching Rick.
Steeeve! I’m sure I will find one that fits my collection. Dick Perez did a great job with the art on the Diamond Kings back in the day. Not the same anymore. Thanks for watching and catch up with you in the chat.
Joe, thanks for looking out for me my friend. I’m looking in the graded 4-5 range. I’m going to need your mobile number to stay connected at the National. Thanks for watching and have a great week.
Very cool Rose pickups. Love the food issue stuff and the 3d. Best of luck finding just the right perfect version of that rc for your pc. See you in the chat bud 👊🏻⚾️
I’m sure there will be plenty of Rose rookie cards at the National. Hopefully the prices are competitive and I get a good deal. See you in the chat! Thanks for watching David.
I’m a fan of the Reds this year too! I’m boycotting the Rockies. 😂 I’m a closet fan of the Reds ever since I was a kid and watched Pete Rose play. Unfortunately, I never got to see him play in person. Thanks for watching and subscribing.
Quanity is Not important Quality is are they cards you enjoy are they cards that fit any of your sets that your working on? that is whats important!!!! you can say that again The last Glory days of Baseball? I love the title Charlie Hustle ? nice 1980 Kellogs , nice starting lineup , nice 1989 card , Nice Milton Bradlee , Yoohoo did they have cards? nice Panani , nice floating heads card!!! even if it's a reprint? do you know where the meet up is and at what time?
Yeah, I’m not into the quantity of cards any longer. The older I get the fewer I want. I definitely recommend the book if you’re into baseball and reading. The meetup is at 6:00 pm on Thursday at the American Legion Building. Go check out Baseball Collectors video about it. Thanks for watching Mark.
Those Kellogg's cards are so awesome. One of the reason I got into collecting cards as a kid. Do you think Rose gets in some day? Looks like you are closing in on 1000 subs. Congratz. I am headed to the National. Perhaps we will run into each other.
I was collecting before I found out about Kellogg’s cards, but definitely went to the store with my mom to get the boxes of cereal and Hostess cakes with cards on the box bottom. I don’t think Rose will get into the Hall. Maybe I will see you at the National. Are you going to the UA-cam meet up on Thursday at the American Legion?
Sweet additions, thanks for sharing and have a great week!
Thanks for watching my budget Pete Rose cards for my binder. Have a great week.
Great Rose PC man. I can't wait to meet ya finally!!! CLEVELAND 2024!!!!
Yes sir it’s going to be a blast in Cleveland! Looking forward to meeting you as well! Thanks for watching Jayson.
Sweet showcase of your new cards Ken! Look forward to seeing you at The National!
Eric, looking forward to seeing you at the National as well. Thanks for watching.
Great additions Ken! Enjoy the national week in Cleveland.
Scott, thanks for watching and looking forward to the National.

Nice variety of Pete Rose cards to add to your collection! Food issue cards are the best! 🙂
I do enjoy the variety of the non standard issued cards that get shown on a regular basis. Thanks for watching Spicy Bear.
I enjoy seeing Rose cards, mainly because I don’t collect him. No bias just never got into collecting him. Great stuff Ken!
Completely understand, can’t collect everyone. Who did you collect when you were a kid, Mike Schmidt? Looking forward to hanging out with you at the National.

Love all the Rose cards Ken! Good luck on picking up a good 63 at the National.
Shannon! You’re a softie for Rose cards. I’m sure I will find a beauty at the National. Thanks for watching, have a great week.
Pete Rose let's go Mobody rocks a bowl cut like Charlie hustle! Have fun at the National Ken!
Rose was king back in the late 70’s and early 80’s. He could rock what ever style he wanted, good or bad. 🤣Thanks for watching Mike.
Awesome Pete Rose pickups. Good luck acquiring the Pete rookie at National! 👍
I'm sure I will have a good chance to find one there. I have a few people looking for me as well when I am there. Thanks for watching
The '85 "upset pete" is a classic! MGR and Player! I wonder, is that the last time we saw that in MLB? 🤔 Best of luck at the NSCC!
I think Pete was the last manager/player. I going to have a great time at the National. Are you to the National? Thanks for watching Mr. Peeps!

Hey Andy! I hope I will find a good Rose rookie. Starting Lineup had some cool different photos. Thanks for stopping by.
Ken, Those are some good looking Rose cards! I've not seen many of them. Good luck at the National getting a good deal on a Pete Rose Rookie!
There were many Rose cards that I had not seen until the invention of eBay! 🤣 I’m hoping to find that good deal for a Rose rookie at the National. I hope the prices are competitive. Thanks for watching Rick.
Great Pete Rose additions! Good luck on the rookie hunt in July!
I’m sure I will find something at the National. I saw at least 50 of them last year in Chicago. Thanks for watching.
The old Kellogs card was interesting to see. Cant imagine many people saved those. Seems like theyd be rare
Only some of the Kellogg’s cards are rare surprisingly. However, many of them cracked the plastic coating on the card. Thanks for watching Dave.
Hope you get your Pete Rose RC at the national. That is a monster addition when you get it. Love the diamond king. Enjoyed
Steeeve! I’m sure I will find one that fits my collection. Dick Perez did a great job with the art on the Diamond Kings back in the day. Not the same anymore. Thanks for watching and catch up with you in the chat.
Great additions. Best of luck on picking up the rose rookie at the national. Looking forward to it!
I’m sure I will find a copy of the Rose rookie that suits my fancy. I saw at least 40 of them last year at the National. Thanks for watching Mike.
Nice Rose pickups! Good luck on the hunt for the rookie. I’ll keep my eye out for nice copies
Joe, thanks for looking out for me my friend. I’m looking in the graded 4-5 range. I’m going to need your mobile number to stay connected at the National. Thanks for watching and have a great week.
Nice additions to the collection
Thanks James, have a great week!
Dude Pete has the ultimate bowl cut on that game card card 😂😂😂😂
Oh man I hope I am with you when you snag your Pete Rose RC !! I personally think its one of the greatest baseball cards of all time
@@DoubleDvintagebaseballcards, that would be fun if you were there!
Pete thought he was trying to start a trend or something. 😂 Thanks for watching Dylan and se you in Cleveland.

New sub here! Great video. I’m a big fan of the Reds, so of course Pete is my guy. I hope you are able to get his rookie at the National. Take care!

That looked my haircut from the same year but i was only 11. Haha
I think Pete was trying to set some sort of fashion trend that didn’t stick. 😂 Thanks for watching Drew and see you in Cleveland.
