Remove the needle correctly while restoring vintage scales

These old Salter parcel scales were getting a bit past it, so I did a quick basic restoration to make them look fresher in the workshop. This included stripping the old flaking paint, removing the needle with a home made puller and then a final re-paint before assembly. The idea was just to make them usable not a museum piece. Job done.
