No matter how many times i watch it this version of Da Capo it still makes me cry, somehow it just hits that hard. And that anniversery trailer hits just as hard and imagine! u have't even played the game! So u can imagine how hard it hits with context.
One thing about HI3 that will never cease to amaze me is the fact how this - let's call it - 'multi-media project' manages to tell a story so touching and immersive that you can see similar emotional reactions to it by people who at times don't even know the least about the story itself. I'm aware that MiHoYo does a quite a bit to promote those animated shorts & concert reactions - but that (ingenious) level of their marketing doesn't explain all the 'hype' and reception you see online. Some people just react to their animated shorts and songs and are able to feel the emotional weight behind it - despite not knowing the characters, story & lore at all. And all that shows how HI3 is - actually (and yeah, even then it feels strange to say it out loud) - some of the BEST 'literature' we have in recent days. It's just ironic how a fucken GACHA GAME can take that spot, of something that was reserved for some literature or cinematic classics in the past. Unfortunately it makes it a hard sell in public - since your average person has no clue those things even exist - 'randos' on the street are still not playing anime gacha games - or watch the shorts on YT. Most people will never hear the songs HoYoMix & Co. produces - which are undoubtedly peak Rock, Pop and even Classic music (at least by modern standards.) You can say all you want about mobile/gacha games or even Chinese companies - it's not all sunshine and rainbows, so to speak - but hell is HI3 a product of love and talent.
Honkai Impact truly is special. I cried at Graduation Party without having ever played the game. Good writing is good writing. Amazing characters. Amazing world. Truly amazing!
Everything is so good, until my eyes teared up in Fu Hua till the end, it hurts so much, yet so good, thank you for MiHoYo to create this masterpiece, im wait for the new chapter about seele n her dark personality

pretty sure the pronunciation in the seele song is deliberate though, probably sounds a bit odd on first listen, but a very good performance imo

I'm pretty sure these concerts exist, at least partly, for Hoyoverse to showcase their XR tech.
Its truly insane. They just take everything to the next level. Im such a fan!
