It a good thing to came across of this news.i we 20 , members from Manipur we are also stuck in Andhra Pradesh kurnool district..we are also a nursing student..half of the members have evacute from hostel before the lock down. And half of us are still stuck here.. as the day goes by cases are increasing as of now it have reach 74 cases in my current city . And it's difficult for us to find food .. we couldn't know how long will this keep on going..I request you sir .. please take us home.
Bro,in today's scenario, this is not possible because if all the migrants allowed to travel to their home, then COVID19 can spread rapidly, then, you will say, ok, First test all the migrants and if they are negative then allow them, but my bro, total testing kits are limited, tests take time, so we have to use this limited resource wisely such in COVID19 Hotspot areas etc. and we must also consider that the number of internal migrents in India huge, if we allow them to come to their home, then this will be a wrong decision. Bro, the whole India is home for a citizen, for me manipur is also as home to me like Rajasthan. So, the best policy is to support all the migrants where they are. Tengbang.in is probably a helpful website for stranded outside Manipuri students but there is a column asking to upload a recent travel ticket from Imphal, but I came to Bangalore from 2019 May20th, so its impossible to upload it .....so many students are facing this problem.
