13/08/2022 Today a young promise named David popovici beated this unbelievable record with a time of 46.86, but everyone will rember this race, Cesar was the first legit man under 47 seconds in the 100 meters, he had a great race also because his suit but man, world record, I'm very excited to see the future races of popovici and I'm also excited to see what dressel will do now, because he isn't the best in 100 meters anymore (but I think he will beat the 50 meters record on the future) Thank you Cesar, thank you David for these amazing races during this 15 years of swimming.
Even though I havent swam for years, I still come back to this race from time to time. Literally the greatest race I've ever seen, a record I thought would be unbreakable until Popovici came along. What a race!

In this race, all 8 guys were wearing the same suit and the guy who won had to come from behind (he was in 2nd at 50m), so he won because of skill and he set a record in a suit he was allowed to wear at the time, so give him his credit while also appreciating the guy who set the new record.
